Travel to Seoul, South Korea
Nami Island • 12/2018

I also book via klook here, click the link: https://www.klook.com/invite/2WEU5?c=PHP
Do not be afraid to travel alone. Reading and Following the instructions is the key.

Myeongdong Shopping Street • 12/2018

Some stores that you can see inside the mall are in the street of Myeongdong. Amazing! Joke. hahah..
I can stand and walk the whole day siguro here.
The price of products are expensive maybe because this a tourist spot but comparing the beauty products here vs. korean products in the Philippines definitely mas mura dito. Also the price of the street food is too costly.

Dongdaemun Plaza • 12/2018

The time I went here sa labas lang talaga ako I never had the chance to go inside.
I appreciate the architectural design of the plaza. I also want to go back here (syempre yung hindi na ako solo traveler) so I can see also the beauty of this place when it’s night.
That's all I can say hahah..

Hongdae • 12/2018

I love Hongdae! Why? sobrang mura dito and maraming clothing store on sale na nagse-sell especially those in the underground place. It’s better to buy here compare sa Myeongdong.
There are group of young people din here who performs in the afternoon like singing and dancing in the streets.

Ewha Womans University • 12/2018

You can enter here without student ID as in diretso lang ako ng pasok without asking the guard. I did not stroll for long. I’m scared na maligaw though may map naman to guide, siguro napapagod na lang me kalalakad heheh..
This University is like universities in Europe yung structure niya. You will not even think at first na merong school na nag-eexist ng ganito sa Seoul.

N-Seoul Tower • 12/2018

Something went wrong…
Please, google maps sometimes is not accurate. It leads me to another route or direction that you didn’t want to take or far to what you are expecting.
Guess what? I didn’t take a bus going on the top. What did I do? Umakyat, nag-hike. I thought hindi yun ang tamang daan but some locals dun sila umaakyat at bumaba. Atleast, lesson learned yun sakin heheh..
When I get there naman sulit din ang pagod ko dahil sa Observatory Deck makikita mo or matatanaw mo ang Seoul City plus there are stores, coffee shops, souvenir shops, etc. inside the tower that you can enjoy.
I also went to Namsan love locks area and I'm wondering how many kilos na kaya yung mga locks na nailagay sa N-seoul tower ng mga lovers heheh. I did not buy love locks kasi I'm a solo traveler and for me para lang yun sa may mga kasamang jowa hahah.. and I think kahit naman kasama ko ang bf ko we will not put lovelocks there because it's too pricey just for a lock and time will come na it will have a rust. (dami ko naman reason hahah).

Bukchon Hanok Village • 12/2018

Walking distance from Gyeongbokgung Palace.
When you get there guys, please stop being noisy or loud. So better to tone down our voice ha?

Gyeongbokgung Palace • 12/2018

So How was it? Maganda ba? Yes, It is.
Entrance fee? based on my experience wala akong binayaran, unlike sa mga nababasa ko meron daw silang binayaran? I’m not sure pero ako wala talaga as in dire-diretso lang ako.

Travel to Seoul, South Korea

“Annyeong Haseyo”
I’m excited to share with you guys my travel in Seoul. Yiiiieeeee!!!
In this content guys, I will be sharing with you some of my experiences during nung first day ko sa seoul, anu yung mga observation ko, ok? pero pagdating sa budget guys yung naalala ko lang and estimated na yung maise-share ko ha? Then, kung san naman ako nag-punta syempre hindi dito sa content na ‘to heheh.. there will be another content for that, wag na choosy, jk. heheh..
Oh Em, uuumm.. where should I start???
Ok. WHY SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA?
I already found my seoul-mate (ching!) And I also said to myself na kelan pa ko pupunta or mag out of the country? kung pwede at keri naman ngayun? hanggat wala pa masyadong gastos.. pero ang tip ko sa inyo guys magkaroon kayo ng budget for travel like ipon-ipon, hulog-hulog lang sa piggybank niyo hanggang sa pag trip niyo na magtravel and keri na ng bulsa, go for it! pero kung hindi kaya wag mapilit, huwag! Don’t be travel today, pulubi later. ok? it’s not wise.
WHEN and AIRFARE?
From December 3 to 8, 2018 through Airasia.
I want ng December kasi birthday month ko and I want to experience yung winter sa seoul.
Pagdating sa immigration remember you need to put the specific address kung san kayo mag-stay, ok?
So Nag-book ako sa klook guys ng AREX TRAIN, from Incheon to Seoul Station. Here’s the link: https://www.klook.com/invite/2WEU5?c=PHP
Then nung nasa Seoul Station na ako nag Taxi na muna ko guys No to Bus muna ko since hindi pa ako ready heheh and may luggage ako. mabigat heheh.. For the info of the driver much better na may screen shot na kayo ng address at ipabasa niyo na sa kanya.
hhmmm. mabilis sa seoul guys, no traffic, and napaka disiplinado nila.
Where ever you go, you need T-Money Card guys for your transpo.. san nakakabili? sa Incheon Airport meron sa tabi ng AREX Train station meron dun, and how much?? Php 170. 00 or KRW 4,000.00. How to use?? tap lang sa bus and for subways din. You can also use the card if you want mag-purchase sa 711 or other convenience store. Niloloadan ang card ha? may mga loading station sa subway and you can load din naman sa 711 and other stalls sa street.
COMMUNICATION?
Kung kaya mo yung language nila, go.. pero english pwede din naman pero wag masyadong galingan they’re not fluent, ok?
So, korea is like Modern Baguio, na-preserve nila yung culture nila, and some places modern look, it’s like a mix of modern and traditional.
Lot’s of Filipinos wherever I go, naririnig ko ang language natin heheh.
POCKET WIFI?
I rented dun sa guest house meron din silang pa-rent so hindi na ako nahirapan, KT Ollehyung name, and ang tagal niya ma-drain.
Estimated Price: Php 800.00 for 5 days
WHERE DID I STAY?
Guest house lang tayo with free breakfast syempre. I used my Agoda App at hinanap ko talaga yung cheaper pero may quality.
He also tried his best to speak english.
I stayed at Namsan Guesthouse, Myeongdong
Malapit sya sa N-seoul tower cable cart and very convenient if you’re a new traveler sa seoul kasi malapit ka sa market, restaurants, and subway station. Medyo ngalay binti lang ako kasi mataas yung lugar, like I said parang Baguio sa Seoul.
Estimated Price: Php 8,5K for 6 days and 5 Nights
What else…
Natural sa mga korean mag make-up ng eyeshadow with shimmers and to put something like sequence na maliliit sa eye nila.
When it comes to their garbage, segregated as in everywhere I go, you CLean As You Go (CLAYGO). Even nung kumain ako sa Mcdonalds, mesa mo linisin mo, pinagkainan mo ligpitin mo.
They will not tolerate you. You discipline yourself or else bye.
Discipline is the key!
Proverbs 12:1 (AMP)
Whoever loves instruction and discipline loves knowledge, But he who hates reproof andcorrection is stupid.

HOW I BUDGET MY SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA TRIP?

How I Budget My Seoul, South Korea Trip?
Think of these things:
Airfare, Transportation, Food, GuestHouse, Shopping/Pasalubong, Extra Money.
AIRFARE
so before I book my airfare I really waited for my visa to be approved mahirap naman mag-book ako ng flight then denied pala visa ko diba.
After that, I spent so many hours and days looking for cheap price going to seoul, baka kasi may promo, there are some changes din kasi everyday sa ticket pricing.
And then when I found the cheapest price that day and for the day that I will travel, kinuha ko na, no choice kahit cheap pero mahal, gets niyo? hahah..
TRANSPORTATION
There are things to consider budgeting your transportation. The fare going to airport, how much is the estimated bus fare and subway fare in Seoul. How much will you load for your T-Money Card. Where is your destination, will it be far or hindi naman. How many transfers will happen going to one destination.
You dont need to be specific but it is much better to budget your transpo allowance a little bit higher than what you estimated in case of emergency.
FOOD
I did not spent a lot to food. I just have a budget or limit everyday na yun lang talaga yung gagastusin ko na pera.
GUESTHOUSE
I don’t have any desire to check-in in a hotel because it will be costly for me and besides I will be outside the whole day, I will just come back to sleep and to rest. So for me aside that my budget is tight it is not wise for me to book sa expensive hotel.
SHOPPING/PASALUBONG
In my case, pinagsama ko na ang shopping (for myself) and pasalubong (for friends). It’s up to you guys how much your budget for this one.
EXTRA MONEY
This extra money is for emergency case only, nakalaan ‘to sa transpo heheh.. I wanna go back to my country of course.
On all of that kahit may budget ako, I’ m trying hard pa rin na magtira at wag ubusin to limit myself din.
What’s Excluded?
I exclude those ticket na bibilhin sa Klook, Pocket Wifi, Taxi going to Airport (NAIA)
To share with you.. here is my sample budget:
> AIRFARE = Php 13,000.00
> TRANSPORTATION = Php 3,000.00
– T-Money Card Load = Php 2,000.00
> FOOD
150 x 3 (breakfast, lunch, dinner) = Php 600. 00 x 6 days = Php 3,600.00
> GUESTHOUSE = Php 8,500.00
> SHOPPING/PASALUBONG = Php 5,000.00
> EXTRA MONEY = Php 3,000.00
TOTAL = Php 36,100.00
remaining Php 3,900.00 can be your budget for the excluded.
You can budget your travel for 40K.
when you have so much extra money and you are rest assured na makakauwi ka na, you can spend your extra money na natira sa last day mo. It’s up to you.
I have seperated wallets for all of these categories para hindi ako malito and to easily track. Segurista kasi ako heheh..
Just enjoy, be thankful and be amazed to all God’s creations!
Psalms 11:36 (AMP) For from Him [all things originate] and through Him [all things live and exist] and to Him are all things [directed]. To Him be glory and honor forever! Amen
