IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

Quite a few people have asked for the yj gang at Hogwarts in the last while, and I have an important dilemma.

On the one hand, I could split them all up into different houses and have them hanging out wherever they are and being competitive and having illicit friendships and romances and whatnot

or

they’re all heroes, right? So they’re all dece courageous, I would say. So what if, like, Wally, Artemis, Dick, M'Gann, Conner, Kal and Roy were the Gryffindor quidditch team?

SO I went with Gryffindor quidditch team. I definitely can see them in other houses, and I loved your guys’ suggestions, but I think the fact that they put their lives on the line every day as superheroes definitely qualifies them for Gryffindor and also this way Kaldur can refer to them as ‘team’ and it’s awesome. (Also brella said I should do it sooooo)

Conner and M'Gann are Beaters. Conner should be kinda obvious why. M'Gann was nearly laughed off the field when she showed up for tryouts, but what she lacks in physical strength she makes up for with freakish accuracy. It’s like she can control the ball telepathically oooooh

Dick’s the Seeker. Wally’s faster, but Dick’s smaller, more agile, and craftier. 

(Wally’s the fastest flyer Hogwarts has seen since his uncle Barry graduated about a decade ago. They call him the Flash, cause all you can see is a flash of red and gold when he speeds by.)

Kaldur’s captain and Keeper. I considered making him  a Chaser and M'Gann the Keeper, but I liked the idea of Kal trying to get his team to stop arguing for a second and listen to him from all the way over by the hoops and getting completely ignored. Also he’s always got everyone’s back, which is kind of what a keeper does.

Wally, Rocket and Artemis are Chasers. Last year, Wally, Roy and Kal were the Chasers, and Rocket was a reserve. Roy graduated, Kal switched positions, and Artemis joined, who Wally can’t stand anyway and especially can’t stand now that she’s taking Roy’s place. (Raquel is sick of their shit.)

Basically they’re a total mess and the most dysfunctional team ever and Kaldur is hopelessly overwhelmed by their antics but eventually they pull themselves together and become the best team the school’s ever seen and yeah. It’s pretty inspirational.
