A/n: I haven't had service for 2 days so sorry about that, I didn't know how to end this so the end may be kinda eh lmfaoo. i also just finished vol 2 of st and all i gotta say is i am fumin, absolutely fumin, anyways i hope this is ok, i feel like this isn't that angsty but yk😭

The scene around you was silent except for the occasional chirps of crickets and wind brushing against the trees, sitting on an old fallen tree you stared at your feet with a disappointed look.

Footsteps broke the silence, making you jump before looking at the culprit. Nick stood a few feet away with an open mouth as if he was about to say something, yet nothing came out, he resorted to waving with an awkward smile and moving to sit beside you, opposite of the way you were facing.

The two of you sat quietly for a moment until you looked at him and spoke,” soo…Emma,huh?” your voice was just above a whisper, pursing your lips as you waited for his answer. Nick looked at you almost like he was surprised,” oh what? No no she just did that to make Jacob jealous, I was playing along.” He waved his hand slightly, shaking his head dismissively.

You only nodded in response and looked ahead of you before letting out a huff and kicking at the dirt under your shoes, anything to avoid making eye contact right now. Nick stared at you for a second before scooting a little closer," Why did you uh walk away?” you almost rolled your eyes at his words, he isn't that oblivious is he?

You shrugged slightly and looked in his direction, but still not looking him in the eyes,” the smoke from the fire y'know, it's just kinda suffocating.” adding a small, forced laugh while picking at your fingernails.

Nick stayed silent only looking at you with an unreadable expression, chewing on his bottom lip. You parted your lips to say something but couldn't figure out what you could say in that moment, finally meeting his eyes for a moment and taking in the tranquility around you.

Time almost seemed to stop as he started leaning in closer, his hand slowly making its way to yours on the log. With wide eyes, you quickly turned your face before he could press his lips to yours, mentally cursing yourself as you closed your eyes.

Nick grimaced slightly at his actions, shaking his head with a sigh,” im sorry, i got the wrong im-” his sentence was cut short by a growl, the bushes ahead of you rustled making your stomach drop and an eerie feeling set in your gut.

The two of you stood up, making the choice to hide behind Nick and whisper,” what was that?” he only shushed you in reply and listened for more noises, "I'm really ready to get out of here, can we just go back to the fire?” The bad feeling in your gut increased when a howl came from far away, your knees on the brink of buckling under you.

He nodded slowly and began walking towards where your friends were with you following close behind. After a few seconds of walking another growl was heard, yet it was closer this time and the sound of running followed it, your breathing quickened as you shook your head,” Oh no, there's definitely something out here with us.” “It's not a bear, I can tell you that.” You scoffed at his comment and nodded, "No shit.”

The bushes moved again, and he nudged you slightly, "Run!” He yelled before taking off ahead of you, a hushed gasp left your mouth, and you began sprinting to the firepit only to be stopped by a root catching your foot causing you cry out and fall to the ground.

Nick looked back at you as you called out his name, but he didn't move to help. You tried to find your balance and stand up, but your ankle had twisted during the fall making it harder to get up. In a flash something had come out from behind the trees and shoved you back to the ground, knocking the air out of you.

A shriek escaped you as the creature bit into your neck, your fists hitting its chest in a weak attempt to push it off, but it continued its assault. Nick watched from his place; his legs frozen for a second before he continued running away hoping to avoid sharing the same fate as you.

tears blurred your vision as you watched him run before you tried to call him again, but your voice was only a whisper. You wanted to punch him in the face for leaving you behind, instead resorting to squeezing your eyes shut just hoping for the moment to be over.

you let out a wheeze when the creature jumped off of you and began to follow him before a gunshot rang throughout the woods, and it fell over, giving Nick more time to run and hide before it got up and disappeared into the darkness behind him.

Eventually Ryan came to your rescue after hearing you scream, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and letting you lean on him as you stumbled back to camp.

A/n: hey anon! ty for requesting I appreciate it sm, i am literally in love w Josh Washington so im glad he is part of my first request. sorry if this is a little bad, I haven't written anything in a bit:)

Before the events that happened with his siblings, the two of you had a strong connection, maybe best friends that are a little too close to just be friends.

Josh's "prank" would go different ways depending on if you were in on the prank involving Hannah

If you weren't involved, he would mostly keep you out of the messed-up shit he planned to get back at the people who caused his sisters death. Of course, if you're invited to the lodge, you can't just be excluded and be special.

Josh blames everyone for the disappearance of his sisters, even himself, so of course you as well must be held accountable, but he'll go "easy" on you because he has feelings for you.

With the mask on, he watches as you call out for him, the lights in the lodge shut off making the moment more eerie. If you're brave enough you'd be able to escape him for a little bit, just to be tied to a chair until he reveals the truth or one of your friends find you. He would probably keep his eye on you the most, making sure you don't get harmed or anything.

After its revealed Josh is the psycho, he tries to act like it was just a prank, a harmless joke. If you decide to forgive him, he'll tell you why he did it and how he didn't mean to get anyone hurt or killed. You also try to help find him after he's taken by the wendigo, eventually finding him and admitting your feelings for each other at the right time, before Hannah gets him.

If you were involved with the prank on Hannah, you'll have the same fate as the others, enduring the stupid pranks he planned out for everyone. Once he pulls the mask off his face infront of everyone, he's tied up outside by Chris and Mike, with you following behind them.

He tries to guilt trip you, saying you helped cause the disappearance of his sisters and how he thought you guys had something special. He also throws in stupid little insults, or you'll just have to listen to him ramble on about off topic stuff, like ordering pizza for the night.

If you're taken by the wendigo during his little prank, he panics and tries to convince the others to let him help look for you instead of being tied up. If you're found alive and with the group when he is found in the mines, he apologizes profusely and follows you like a lost puppy, making sure you're not taken again.

If you're found dead or not found at all he blames himself for your death, telling his friends he never wanted anyone to get hurt, especially you.
