Arthur Alan Brown (1901-1951), Grandad. In World War II you served at Dunkirk, received injuries that took you 8 months to recover, served in North Africa, Normandy and Operation Market Garden in Holland, where you were Injured so serverly it took seven long and painful years to die. It robbed my Dad, Kevin, of ever knowing his father who died 14 day’s after his birth. Your other children Sylvia, Janet, Valarie, Graham and greatly missed Carol and Barry, and the dozens of your Grandadchildren, from knowing you. You now have over near 200 Grandchildren, Great Grandchildrenand Great Great Grandchildren (thanks to Valerie‘s line). You may be gone, but you’ll never be forgotten! Lest We Forget
