Amazonite: How do they go about comforting or calming down others? Are they good at it?

Ibuki is actually pretty terrible at comforting or calming down other people. When it comes to comfort he finds himself to be very awkward and pats their back and if we’re talking about “calming” someone down, he tends to become frustrated rather quickly and gives up half way through. I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that he is very impatient as a whole and is easily triggered. 

Jade: What are their opinions on luck? Do they believe in it?

He believes that luck is a comforting concept and wants to believe it but can’t because there is just not enough concrete evidence in his life for it.

Kyanite: What is their temper like?

A nuke? Ibuki’s temper is horrendous but his empathy gets the better of him and allows him to knock it off.

Smoky Quartz: How is their physical endurance? Are they the active sort of person or not?

He’s as active as he can be as a guitarist but he does not go out of his way for physical activity unless he is forced.

Turquoise: Do they strive for success or do they typically prefer to go with the flow?

Always go with the flow.

Ruby: Do they typically keep their heart on their sleeve?

Yes and no.  I think one of Ibuki’s more defining quality is his ability to speak his mind and be honest regardless of the consequences. While this essentially may mean he wears his heart on his sleeve, he is also very discreet about his personal life or things that directly mold his world into being the way it is. To put it this way: He whispers into a megaphone. 

Cat’s Eye: What sorts of things soothes them when they’re worked up?

Ibuki finds a lot of comfort in tasty foods. He is definitely both an emotional and habitual eater. You will find that he speaks often about food because it has a direct impact on him!

Spinel: Are they a worry-wort or are they carefree?

He leans on more of a “worry-wort” side. Ibuki will worry about what people say or do in regards to him but he doesn’t worry enough to let it overwhelm him. He also cares about his family and is a little tough on his children but he also firmly believes in protecting his children, loved ones and friends from a cruel world that he otherwise believes failed him. 

anzanite: Do they heal quickly or do bruises and cuts tend to heal slowly?

He definitely heals slowly if we are speaking figuratively. It takes some time, thinking and consideration to allow him to heal from anything but the best way to assist him in this is through talking. He can usually get over most situations if he is approached and listened to.

Kyanite: What is their temper like?

Lapis Lazuli: How aware are they of others and of their surroundings?

Moonstone: What inspires them? Why?

Onyx: How do they handle hostility from others, whether verbally or physically?

Opal: Are they the emotional sort?

Peridot: Are they open to new growth and change in any way, or are they resistant to it?

Prehnite: Do they find it easy to recall their dreams or do they hardly remember them?

Rose Quartz: Do they typically hold grudges? Are they the type to compromise as best they can during a conflict?

Ruby: Do they typically keep their heart on their sleeve?

Rutile Quartz: Do they have a habit of looking for the source of a problem? Are they the type to attempt to solve it if they’re able, or do they try to avoid it?

Sapphire: What makes them happiest? Is there a reason why?

Smoky Quartz: How is their physical endurance? Are they the active sort of person or not?

Spinel: Are they a worry-wort or are they carefree?

Tanzanite: Do they heal quickly or do bruises and cuts tend to heal slowly?

I wish we could have been closer but I’ll cherish every single memory with you, even if there weren’t that many. You’re strong, invincible - beautiful. You’ve helped me in more ways than one even if you were in so much pain yourself and even now I don’t know why you did. You’re selfless and your spirit is unmatched, even the stars will be jealous when you join them. Thankyou for the memories, coffee talk, movies, being a shoulder to cry on. I’ll never forget you or the small time we spent together. Rest in paradise, Olivia.

Niida Olivia, 35, of Sapporo, Hokkaido, passed away on Tuesday, 04 December, 2018 in Hakodate, Hokkaido.

Memorial service will be held 9:30am Thursday, 06 December, 2018 at Tokyo Memolead Hall.

Funeral service will be held 11:00am Sunday, 09 December, 2018 at Tokyo Memolead Hall. Cremation will follow at same facility. A note for burial will be released to Maruyama Yuuichi and Lilian Morgenstern.

Niida Olivia was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido to Niida Emiko and Killian Buach on 16 April, 1983. She graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with a degree in piano instruction. She performed as an independent musical artist from 2006 to 2014 and worked as a music teacher for children and adolescents from 2016 to the time of death. She married Shiroyama Yuu on 13 February, 2016. in Mie, Honshu. They had two children: Miyuki and Tatsuya. The two divorced on 20 November, 2018. She was involved in the 2011 Tohoku Tsunami relief groups, volunteered for Tokyo Rainbow Pride often, and participated in community volunteer groups for underprivileged children teaching piano, guitar, and voice.

Niida Olivia is survived by Shiroyama Miyuki, Shiroyama Tatsuya; Niida Moa; Niida Emiko, Killian Buach.
