i'm sorry for being all inactive lately but i just don't feel like doing this rp atm because life is challenging me hard and i jusst have to figure out how to deal with it atm -- which is why my motivation to reply with icarus and sam kinda lacks. i got diagnosed with anemia, it's some sorta blood disease thing. it has to do with me being a vegetarian and the lack of iron in my food and stuff. it's why i'm sick all the time and why i have trouble breathing and bad skin and am so exhausted and sleepy almost 24/7. it's basically the cause of all my diseases, seemingly even my asthma. also i will have to start eating meat again at some point, which is what's bugging me the most. i'm starting my treatment on friday and will have my blood tested again six weeks after to see if i have to continue with the infusions or can start taking normal iron pills. anyway, that's why i just need a break from this rp at the moment. i just can't keep up with a normal activity level and don't want y'all to wait for me or something. see you soon!

"You're right, it does!", Icarus replied with a smile on his face. "But I don't think they can actually see us, we're waaaay too far away to be seen from up there."

“ Look ! That star looks like a dog !” Koda said loudly, looking up at the night sky. “I wonder if there’s any space men up there right now, flying around in a rocket ship, I wonder if they can see us from all the way up there ! ”

Zack knew for real this time it was time to get his act together. If he was going ahead with his secret plans for real now it was time to start being serious about everthing. “The only thing I���m really worried about is Koda.” Zack sighed, “He’s so young and innocent y'know?” Zack played with his fingers. “But we definitely can work on something and plan something.” He squeezed the other boys hands. He really hoped that if he did go ahead with it, it was for the best but he still couldn’t imagine leaving his baby brother all alone with no one to protect him, that was what worried him the most. “Like where though?” Zack raised his eyebrows looking down at Icarus with pure afffection. “We can do that, we just need to research.” He smiled confidently, “Anywhere with you would be perfect.”

Icarus nodded. "I get what you mean.", he said and he did. He'd leave his entire family, his siblings and parents, who did so much for him the past few months. He knew they'd be mad at him somehow and most of all they'd be sad. He sighed. "I think my family'd be pretty disappointed and mad at me, to be honest. Like after all they did for me since what happened and stuff." He started chewing on his lower lip at looked up at the ceiling, feeling Zack's hand squeezing his own. "I don't know. Just -- anywhere but here or home. Maybe the moon." Icarus shrugged. Like Zack already said: Anywhere with you would be perfect. "But there's something way more important I need to do right now.", he said and turned around to face the taller one again. "This." He was looking right into his eyes before he before he finally found the guts to move in closer and kiss him once again.

she shook her head at him, squeezing his arm gently. “ hey, it was a joke, silly. i know zack’s a good guy. ” cat meant it too. zack had never been anything but kind to her, and she knew how much he meant to icarus. that whole I LOVE YOU crack, it seemd a bit extra to cat, but she really shouldn’t judge. icarus deserved some good in his life. “ well, if it’s real, then it’s definitely a thing. icarus, tell me everything. ”

"He definitely is.", he nodded. Zack was such a good person, he just couldn't believe some people didn't see that. He meant the world to him and he'd never let anyone hurt him or talk shit about him. "You think so?", he asked while biting his lip nervously. Icarus had never been in a relationship and he was a bit scared of it if he was being honest. Especially now when he forgot about so many things all the time, he just couldn't imagine that this'd be good for a relationship. Who'd want to be with someone who couldn't remember so many things? But he didn't tell Catherine about his fears and doubts because he didn't want to worry anyone. He just smiled and shrugged a little. "I don't know what to tell. It was just so.. Magical. Like really, I felt like I was dreaming or something. I would've never thought that he actually felt the same as I do. I -- I told him about what had happened in Winter and to be honest I cried like a little baby, but he didn't mind at all."

her jaw just instantly dropped. “ i mean, i knew about your crush but ----- zack? fuckboy zack? this i ----- icarus, WOW. i’m so happy for you, oh my god. ” she leaped up onto her knees and gave him a clap, followed by a hug. she pulled back and grabbed his shoulder. “ so, are you guys … like, a thing? ”

Icarus bit his lip when Catherine called Zack a fuckboy. He knew that this was what mostly everyone was thinking about him, but he also knew that this wasn't actually who he was. If anyone really knew Zack it was definitely Icarus. "Please don't call him that, Cat.", he said with a slightly sad tone in his voice. Zack would never hurt him, that he was sure of. When his sister hugged him, he hugged her back and started smiling again. "I -- I don't know. I mean, we kissed and we talked a lot about a lot of stuff and it's all clear and everything. Like, he told me he loved me and that's pretty much everything I need to know, isn't it? I don't know what we are right at this very moment, but I know that it's special and I know that it's real."

the attic at cousins was one of cat’s favourite places. was she feeding into the stereotypical freaky horror junkie trope? absolutely. did she care? not one bit. she patted the space on the floor beside her, sweeping away the dust for him to sit. “ icarus, jesus, what’s going on? is this a BAD thing or a GOOD thing, i can’t tell. ”

Icarus sat down next to his sister and looked at her. His face was one bright smile, something his family hadn't seen on him in quite some time. "Alright, ok.", he said. "It's a really good thing, I'd say. You know about my crush on Zack, don't you? Well, I told him and apparently it seems like he's feeling the same." He was talking fast and you could feel how happy he was.

As soon as Cat had texted him back Icarus gave his brother the phone back and went upstairs to his sister. Catherine and him had always been really close and gladly they'd stayed close even when he started to isolate himself from most of his family members because he was afraid of hurting them. When he found Cat, a sigh of relieve left his lips. "Thank god you're here.", he said. "Something happened and I need to tell you."
