There's so much fun to be had with Aaron, Robert, John and Mackenzie on ao3 but because fans of soap gay couples are always so vanilla/anti (and let's be honest, straight), we'll never see the full extent of it. I'm surprised we're even getting a few Mack/Robert fics tbh.

(Those two John/Robert fics are leaning into it a bit more, but go down the whole obvious "THIS IS BAD"/"John is a bad guy" route, instead of embracing the taboo and letting both be into it.)

The Bottom Roy Kent tag only having 46 works is a bigger travesty than Nate's "redemption" arc.

The Rivals tag on ao3 is way too fucking hetero and boring for a show with a male cast as hot as that one. We aren't even getting threesome fics anymore. The men barely interacted in them (even when tagged mm) but some of them were still hot.

A bit of a rant because I just need to vent about something:

Unless a FMM threesome actually features the men interacting with each other sexually, don't put it in the MM cat. Especially if it's a fandom with very little MM fics as it is.

I'll take any crumb I can find, I've read more het than I ever thought I would for Rivals, but you can't serve up nothing and still tag it MM.

It's similar to when people tag MM for het fics that just a have a gay couple in the background as window dressing. Bridgerton is another big offender. It makes it so hard to find the very rare fics that actually do focus on a MM ship.
