Gav needed to take photos of two finished art pieces, so I wormed my way in there with my hoop, hence the elaborate backdrop.

I love this Ethan Zohn quote- in fact, this is probably our most used ‘Survivor’ quote. Whenever we get home from vending at an art fair/show (usually at midnight), we have to unload the car, which means moving 8 heavy sandbags from the backseat to the “art shed” we have at the back of the Escape Pod. It’s monotonous and difficult and we say this line multiple times as we go back and forth until the car is empty of all the art tent stuff.

We also use this quote when we have to do dishes. ‘Tremendous effort challenge’ is now for all things, big and small. Anyhow, it’s art show season again, so bring on the sandbags 😩

With all the amazing new Goggins content, I’m hoping it pushes everyone to look up his other work and rewatch ‘Justified’ and get it popular again so we get a second season of Graylan, but this time they bring Tim back into the storyline, along with his husband and clever quips. Manifesting this for me ✨.

Short though it may have been, the alliance between Dylan Efron and Boston Rob was glorious, and watching them work together made the season for me.

Especially after the Survivors went all Survivor on each other. You can take the Survivor out of Survivor, but you can’t take Survivor out of the Survivor, apparently.

I was torn between this iconic moment, and Boston Rob’s “I swear I’m a freakin’ faithful”, but in the end, the hug won. LOVE WINS. And now so must Dylan. And Gabby. Go Dylan and Gabby! 🎉

Admittedly, “I’m a wolf in goat’s clothing” is probably one of the most baller ‘Survivor’ lines ever, but this one? The earnestness and accusation- chef’s kiss. The chort it made me chortle. Jake O’Kane was so damn funny and easy to root for.

2025 is already shaping up to be an absolute dumpster fire rotting garbage year (next 3 not looking so hot either) so to brace myself, I will continue to stitch my favorite ‘Survivor’ lines, the ones that made me laugh and quote frequently, apropos of nothing.

The way that I love this line. I’ll always go halfsies on food, but if it isn’t an even split, my brain itches. I’ll cut a single pizza roll into 8 pieces, whatever it takes. Pile of fries? Count em’ out, one by one. I would have put the cherries in palms of hands and been immediately loathed and voted out.

I like to watch a season of ‘Survivor’ and identify when I would have been voted out, and so far in 47 seasons, I’ve never made the merge. 🎉

Anyway, Ethan Zohn is the absolute greatest, and his humor and gameplay make him one of my favorite ‘Survivor’ players. I still think season Africa was the most difficult season. That water situation alone 😩

Still on my ‘Survivor’ kick, and now that we are home from art shows for the next few months, I can finish the WIPs and work on the new ones.

Every line Boston Rob has said on this show sends me. 10/10 entertainment every time.

Pretty much everything Boston Rob says is a stitchable quote. But THIS LINE… pure Robfather gold.

Reason number 5,525,600 I could never be on ‘Survivor’: I’d totally cave. I’d be like ‘you said that so boldly, it must be true, here’s all the information I have’.

I had to do one more embroiderini of the boys so I could do this quote, which I adore. ‘Due South’ is- without a doubt- in my top five greatest shows of all time.

The hold this show has on me… 25 years after it ended. ‘Due South’ is a Canadian treasure. Absurdly funny and ridiculously entertaining. Callum Keith Rennie is gonna slay in the final season of Discovery.

I MISS ‘Santa Clarita Diet’. So much. It’s easily one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen in my entire life, and it hits every time I watch it. Olyphant’s manic goofiness is the best, and Barrymore’s cursing is a work of art.

Milo and the OG Book Tock. ‘The Phantom Tollbooth’ was the first time I realized a book could be art. Never have I been more captivated and awed by words. There are many beautiful quotes in the book, but this one feels particularly relevant.

I fear my embroiderinis are becoming too niche. This isn’t even a shot from the actual show; it’s a behind the scenes shot. Still, “Justified” continues to be the most magnificent show to rewatch and I’mma make it everyone’s problem.

I will give up on anything and everything before I give up hope for a fourth season of ‘Hannibal’. Fannibal for life.
