I'm making a bestiary for creatures in my fictional solar system. Here is the first page!

Coastal shadows avoid settlements on land because they don't want to be involved in political affairs as they know they could easily be wiped out if they were discovered. They are the oldest sapient species on Querel, yet the least technologically advanced, relying mainly on magic. They will occasionally come up to the surface to disguise themselves as land animals and study them, occasionally bringing them back with them for further research or for food. Their markings are primarily used for communication and luring prey.

its called karma one and it uhhh it has?? uhhh basically the rot is also rabies now. so theres an iterator that is basically amassing an army to eliminate it?? and if anyone gets injured they kind of get. mechanized. and there's this little band of scugs that opposes them once this iterator kinda goes off the deep end. anyway scug designs yay!
