I feel like the devils minion chapter was peak romance. Like they had a little dinner date, they traveled together, drank some blood (Daniel was kinda a freak for that), had a dramatic ass first kiss. Peak toxic yaoi. Thank you Mrs. Rice.

I’ve been thinking about the beginning of The Vampire Armand for like a good hour because that whole interaction with David feels so real in a way. Like it’s so gross and uncomfy and it reminds me of women having to try and scare men away from them by acting crazy. Like I’ve heard of women drawing on their faces with lipstick to get men to leave them alone and every time I get to the bit where Armand takes that guys hair and it weirds out David it makes me think of that. Idk tis just the thoughts but unfortunately it felt very girl experience.
