~ I have been addicted to vampires and supernatural things since I was 12. I watched interview with a vampire and with that vampires become my favourite thing to watch and like. ~

Ugh, self-deprecation. Making bold proclamations first, then showing no self esteem. Bloody Sword rolled his eyes and at least refrained from commenting verbally as well. Instead, he drily said: “I appreciate your concern.”

He eyed the man for a little longer, his judging gaze seemingly full of things unsaid, questions unanswered, yet the only thing between them was an awkward silence. And the vampire didn't feel the need to break it. He had gotten his share of entertainment. One should end their encounters early, before things became tedious.

“I shall take my leave”, he thus informed the embalmer offhandedly, while straightening out his clothes a bit. Got to look presentable. He then headed straight for the door, only turning around when he had already passed the threshold: “Maybe we meet again in the future, and you can tell me about your progress. Until then, I bid you goodbye.”

“Yellow roses, huh? Why though? Red is a much more alluring colour!”

"...I have found that it doesn't suit me. I am hardly... alluring, as you put it." He tries and fails to keep himself from muttering a "I'm not sure if I want to be..." as he steps backward slightly. Deep, bright red. It's a color he knows is popular, but... "It isn't like the color changes the scent and the petals' softness and the thorns that inevitably line the stem, though... right?"

Despite the compliments, the well-wishes, Bloody's face looked sour. Like he knows what he seeks is far out of his reach, no matter how much he struggles and strives. His eyes are cold, even when he forced a somewhat polite smile:

“Thank you. I will succeed.”

It doesn't matter what is possible or not, if you don't believe in what you are doing, then you gave up before you even started. There is no sense in work without commitment. And when you do commit, you better see it through until the end - no matter if the ship sails or sinks.

“And I hope you do, too.”

His tone was hard, like it was no other option to begin with.
