so its um...definitely been a minute since I last touched this blog, and its the annual "how is life going" post. I kinda forgot I had it and it hasn't even been that long...(what, five months? o_O)

these past four months were the most stressful and difficult times ive had in a while (imagine what ill be saying in a year when im actually done with the program...) but I have made it through my first semester. so much studying, crying, failing and finally, success.

Hey, and thank you everyone for sticking around through everything. I'm kind of just ready for it to be over-- but I still have four semesters to get through. -_- If you can pass the first semester, you can pass the rest, no?

I don't know exactly how I'm going to spend this time until January (and then I will probably go silent again), but I might draw a little.

I will post some things I did draw a little later, so... yeah.

Thank you so much! I will definitely keep drawing for tssm as much as I can. I haven't posted much this year as you probably have seen, but I will try to interact with people more and at the very least, be a bit more active (but thats what i say every year... T___T)

A few random (ambiguous) doodles based on some lines/moments from @rancid-zinnia-onthepatio's AMAZING fic, You Tentacle My Fancy!

I've been following it for a while now, and I can't express how much joy it has brought me when I have been stressed with school T_T

Another amazing fanartist I want to mention who inspired me is @sly-stone-hero, so I want to show my support for them as well! ^^

My first time making a felt doll...well, it came out OK, kinda cute...actually, i think, really cute. i did want to add stuffing, but i didnt have enough felt. T_T

I drafted the design first, put the parts on seperate layers, then assembled them like a pattern... it was easier than i expected, but still a bit of work!

I'll share the pattern and the design below, so you can try it for yourself if you like (though i did end up improvising a lot of things. I totally forgot his harness and the pants stripe, somehow!) anyway, i guess it can be considered a sort of early christmas gift to you. ^^

Any TSSM Otto/Adrian headcanons?

okay! i can give you some 'cause i think about them... a lot.

-otto feels completely comfortable about being himself around adrian. even if otto despises his old self for being 'weak', i cant help but think he still retains a few of the meeker qualities he displayed back then.

-their friendship must have started while they were both employed at tricorp. assuming otto was as timid as he was working under osborn, i think adrian managing to get someone like pre-accident octavius to warm up to him is impressive.

-just looking at adrian, you can assume he might get cold easily. otto wears a large trenchcoat, so its also safe to assume that adrian might borrow it when he wants to. not only that...but otto seems a bit warm and cuddly-looking even without the trenchcoat, so... ^^''

-when theyre not doing supervillain things, they like to play board games and watch nature documentaries together, though adrian tends to fall asleep watching them. LOL

the very occasional (long) life update i like to put here just cause i don't have anywhere else to put it ._.

The semester isn't over yet, but this has probably been the most stressful... mostly since it feels like real life has really hit me.

I think I was able to secure a seat in the nursing program at a university for next fall, but I haven't received a decision letter just yet-- only based on communication with the program's director. I think its a step in a good direction...

they received so many applications that ive already had to move my application from next spring to the fall to accommodate for that, so i will need to fill in the extra time i have with classes and volunteering at the hospital, but...i think it will be exciting.

i think im starting to enjoy drawing more again. i cant believe ive been drawing tssm for so long now XD but its really helped me to discover the kind of direction i want to move in with my art. i cant help the fact that otto is so cute and fun to draw, either!

As the year is coming to a close (if its December already, i cant imagine how quickly next fall will approach!) I want to share how much everyones support means to me. By now, im sure everyone knows how slow I am to post...but that aside, i cant express my thanks enough. thank you so much.

Just for now, since ive pretty much put all of eggs in one basket, i can only hope for the best and that my application will be approved. From now and until then, I have to prepare for the program, but of course ill still be drawing, and surely, i will try to share my drawings. ^^
