Silveny seems to have a good connection with both Sophie AND Keefe, both of whom were born with DNA configurations, from Lord Cassius? He wouldn't be as likely to decline the offer if he had done it before, even if he didn't remember. So Silveny would be like a step aunt or something if it was Lord Cassius?
