7. Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?

Yea. Generally it’s memory based stuff. Bomb falling, watching her spouse die. But also war flashbacks and stuff. War & loss are probably the most recurring themes. Even with the more recent events, honestly. A lot of the time she also has dreams that the feral ghouls she’s killing are people she knew? so. that’s. that’s a thing. 

14. Does your character remember names or faces easier?

Faces, honestly. She pays pretty close attention to facial details of people and their body language, tones and everything. Because that’s like what she was trained to do, honestly. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t remember names. Sometimes she’ll forget a name or something if she’s only met them in passing. Like, meeting trashcan carla? Can confirm she called her trashcan for like 2 weeks because they only met like ?? once lmao. 

26. How does your character behave around children?

Cara is not.. A soft person in general. But there’s always this soft spot for kids where she cares about them. Especially with how the world is? it’s hard for her to not care. She may have some bitterness and acts cold towards the idea of her own child, but that’s because its like a big ol reminder that she never got to be ? a mom and it feels like a failure. But other kids? Kids who are alone or suffering? She cares about them so much and wants to keep them safe. 

She doesn’t think it’s fair they have to grow up so fast. 

43. Has your character ever had a dependent figure who was not related to them?

Arguably the whole commonwealth because jfc no one can do shit. can’t even take care of a cat. 

But in actuality? I don’t think so. But… mmm. I don’t wanna say No. She was in the military for a bit and definitely had people who relied on her then. But, it was always a give and take situation. It’s always ‘follow my lead and i’ll protect you. watch my back & i watch yours.’ not like i need you to live. & maybe one time or another her people were dependent on her. Depending on her covering them from a distance, dependent on her taking out other snipers. dependent on several things she had to do to ensure their safety, but didn’t need it to happen to live. Depending on each other was to trust that you could take care of yourself and your team if needed. 

and that sort of ideology has definitely followed her into the future a bit. She’s not letting people depend on her, solely. She knows they don’t need to, since there’s so many people who know how to take care of each other. She doesn’t want anyone to depend solely on her. It’ll always be a team effort honestly.
