ik that a lot of people have been talking about this recently so i'm sorry if someone has already said it. but. we know the life series are based on the previous winners, right? but people are still talking about what scar's influence on wild life is

i feel like it's that they're being thrown into circumstances that you cannot win in. constantly growing and shrinking (causing fatal glitches), hunger so bad you're never satisfied, and once you are everything is randomized so you never know what will satisfy vs kill you, and immortal snails that chase relentlessly and cannot be stopped by any blocks or environments.

and the reason they are all unwinnable is because *scar didn't win.*

it's a common theory that the reason why scar kept getting the "win secret life" book is because lizzie, while technically eliminated, never died. she fell into the void, falling for all eternity, but she's alive. that's also why the canary curse still holds up.

obv there are other ideas, and again im sorry if someone already said this! i haven't seen anyone do so, but i'm also not on tumblr a ton and these are just my late night ramblings.

Whole-heartedly BEGGING writers to unlearn everything schools taught you about how long a paragraph is. If theres a new subject, INCLUDING ACTIONS, theres a new paragraph. A paragraph can be a single word too btw stop making things unreadable

both their designs are purposefully cluttered mainly because i think both of them have bases that are really busy in different ways (joel definitely more so than etho, but also cause etho's been focusing on frogger hence the frog bits and music discs/pages) but also because i love designing very Full outfits

i wanted to carry that busyness into their designs, ex. joel's many many colours, banner accessories and layers vs etho having a lot of trinkets and things on his person (you can't convince me he doesnt hoard at least a little . he has a shulker sorting system for every block in the game and i love that for him)

there were definitely more thoughts in my head as i was drawing but they've all escaped me so ,, maybe someday i'll remember
