Choice or Disease Who Gives a Fuck.

     Well I have made the mistake of being on facebook more these days and realize that they is another stupid trend going around that is starting to piss me off.  See apparently drug addiction is now considered a disease which is fine and all as honestly don’t really give a crap about that but hey if it gets people to acknowledge it as a true medical problem and get people to put more efforts in both treatment and prevention then hey I am all for it. Now for some reason drug addiction being seen as a disease for whatever reason seems to just piss people off and now they are all going off like they are somebody who knows what they are talking about despite the usual having about zero experience or knowledge about the subject but hey what did you expect. Like they start going on about how are you going call drug addiction a disease when they made the choice to do it will there is some child who had no choice in getting cancer. Like the fuck does that have to do with anything. I mean to begin with I don’t remember it being a choice or not being a prime condition for something to be considered a disease. After all pretty sure lung cancer is considered a fucking disease despite someone making the choice to smoke cigarettes till their lungs became blacker then the blackest night but hey whatever you just act like that logic makes some kind of sense. Secondly why the hell does that even matter. Whether drug addiction is considered a disease or not isn’t going to make that child not die from cancer, pretty sure that is what medical knowledge and technology are for.        See the truth is it is not about the the children with cancers, because much like war veterans they are a group that are referenced whenever people want to redirect a conversation in some way when it is going in a direction they don’t like. Like they will shout out think of the veterans when they haven’t done anything in the last decade to help homeless and poor veterans because they are stupid hypocritical shits. The real reason that many people even possibly people reading this right now are so agaisnt drug addiction being considered a disease is that it moves it into the realm of a medical condition and the funny thing about medical conditions is that you are considered a asshole for stigmatizing people who have them.                                                                           That is the problem right there, for a while drug addiction has been seen as nothing more then a weaknesses of character and a result of poor life choices. Such people deserve to be scorned and treated like a social outcast from society. In fact one person said  to stop treating drug addicts as a having a disease and treating them as addicts. In response I ask them, how should we treat addicts? Of course I got no response probably because they either had no answer or likely knew whatever answer they had was going to get curb-stomp on because addicts are suppose to be treated like shit at least according to conventional wisdom. That is what bothers people because if they have a disease then drug addicts are no longer social out casts, but victims that society needs to now help. People can’t deal with that cognitive dissonance so they fight the very idea that drug addiction can be considered a disease despite it being considered so by people who have medical training often times specifically in dealing with drug addiction.                                                                                         Some claim that it is not disease and that we need to show tough love to those who keep making the choice to be addicted and weak and not just use their will power to overcome it. Of course this goes agaisnt pretty all understanding of human psychology and statics. Fact is that will power has a real limit no matter the person and that while the person who is addicted does need to make a choice to quit  that actually quitting is made far easy with professional help and lots of support. After all many people only become so dependent on drug use as a self medicating cooping mechanism for mental health issues often brought on by a high stress life. But then again it is not about people thinking that calling it a disease will make it harder for a drug addict to quit or not, it is about it being considered a choice so we can continue to scorn them as a society and sleep well at night not worrying about all the  heroin addicts overdosing across the nation, because after all it was their choice and therefore no responsibility or consequence to us.                                                        Regardless on where you fall on the debate it really doesn’t matter because for one it is considered a disease by people more knowledgeable then any of us and two arguing on the net about it isn’t actually going tot solve the problem as it is only a vain attempt to satisfy your own wretched ego. Long story short disease or choice why do you give a fuck. Go do something more useful with your life.

Freedom Of Speech Doesn't Protect You From Being Stupid.

         Holy crap I have not written anything in a while, probably because I been too busy actually being out and living life now that my legs can actually support my own body weight again. Like real talk it feels good to be able to get up and down stairs without wondering if my leg wanting to give out and kill me. Now today we are talking about the well known first amendment of America's Constitution or to be specific freedom if speech. Though by unknown  I mean barely known because for the last half year to a year I noticed that plenty of people don't seem to actually understand what freedom of speech means actually is but call upon it whenever they want to try and gain protection from something they said. Like, it is okay I said something that makes me seem like an asshole I am using my freedom of speech so back off. Well funny story is that is actually not how freedom of speech works.

      See we live in a time where there is a lot of backlash agaisnt the common trend of trying to be political correct and people want to talk mad shit like the good old days without consequence. Now I will be the first to say that some of the stuff people get offended about is just down right sad at times but that is a whole different topic in itself. Regardless it is kind of nice living in a place where shouting out racist and sexist remarks are generally frowned upon and condemned as they should be. For you see lot of people seem to believe that being considered stupid or a plain shitty person for the words that they use is somehow agaisnt the first amendment. but no no no that is not how the first amendment actually works. Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from the consequences of social stigma and people hating you. It doesn't give you the ability to say whatever you want without being challenged on a factual basis. All it really means is that you can say something like I fucking hate the president he is fucking terrible at his job and not get my head cut off and served to my next of kin. I can even say stuff like the holocaust didn't actually happen and not suffer legal repercussions which is actually not true for many first world countries. Point is that freedom of speech mainly deals with the legal aspect of things not the social . So you are free to say whatever you want but I am free to say whatever I want in return and it is something I take advantage of often well as long as it doesn't come into conflict with things anti hate crime and harassment laws and other people’’s rights. Long story short freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom to be an asshole or say stupid things.

        This is not even getting into the fact that a large part of the reason the first amendment even exists was to prevent news media sources from facing repercussions from reporting things that may not put the government in a negative light as well as people voicing their concerns and dislike about what the government is doing such as in editorials. Simply put it is suppose to make sure that the government can't silence the news. See the first amendment as a base concept is much bigger then protecting your right to speak some trivial words as it also protects freedom of press and freedom of religion. 

      So next time you find yourself in a tight spot because people are bashing something you said, please for the love of all that is not terrible in the world don't use freedom of speech as an excuse to try to find a way out from whatever stupid crap you probably said because it has no legs to stand on and is a weak way to make an argument. Anyway enjoy your freedom of speech, just remember freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom to be a bad person.

You Are Actually Making Jackshit Why the Phase Making Money is                            Wrong

        Well it has been awhile, been busy enjoying my regained ability to walk again and have been taking a lot of time getting my strength back. Turns out I pretty much had to retrain myself how to walk, like did your leg every go left when you told it to go straight because apparently that is a thing. Let's just say stumbling was my constant company at the beginning. Anyway that is not what this is about instead we are talking about the concept of making money and why that whole phase is 100% wrong. Which is funny considering that making money is one of the thing everybody in america spends hours in there day doing allegedly.         Now to understand why I say that phase is wrong we should think about the term make and what it means. Make implies some kind of transformation or creation. Good example is when you cook as you take several ingredients and turn it into something that may as well be completely different. people take trees and transform them into wood planks and boards and with other materials make a house. see that thing I just said, that doesn't happen when you get a paycheck. You are not creating or making money out of something but rather acquiring money that already exists. Now you are probably thinking okay but it doesn't seems like a big difference and if you are looking through the narrow lens of what you see and experience in your everyday life in your own small immediate world you would be correct. However such a difference actually means a lot when you look at it on a grander level. For you see words have power and by looking at getting money as making money we are not thinking about how the whole world and how it all works but  just that our bank account has bigger numbers in it.       When we use the term make money many of us treat this as money just being generated into our banks accounts from direct deposit  or into our hands once we cash a check. But the truth is that money already exists and comes from somewhere and that is either your employers if you work for someone or your customers if you are an owner, or I guess taxes if you are the government. If that is the case then we must accept that money is finite. So when you are are paid for your work you are not making money but acquiring it. But if money is finite then we need to think about the world in a different light. Funny thing is that many people in America don't understand that because money is finite that means that the more of it one person has the less there is for everyone. Money doesn't grow on trees and doesn't pop out of thin air and printing more of it just makes all of it collective worth less because money is a way to assign value to objects and labor. The only way around that bit is if there something of value backing up the printed money but we have long since gone away from worrying about details like that and might be part of the reason why are economic system is so messed up, i don't know why don't you ask somebody who major in the subject.  So when it comes to the division of money it is not some sort of bar graph but rather a pie chart showing how money is divided up between people. So the saying the rich get richer and the poor gets poorer isn't really a coincidence but rather a fact of how our world economic system is design to work. The rich can only get rich by acquiring more money which means there is less for everyone else thus making them poorer as a result. Now I am sure some of you think I am blaming the rich for people being poor which in a sense I am but at the same time not really. Now there is nothing inherently wrong with being rich and our economy wouldn't work if we didn't have some sort of inequality in what we are paid. that being said there is a problem when people have less buying power and there are large amounts of money in the system that is just staying put not being used to buy things, pay people. or invest anything. The fact is people are poor because others people are rich and that is by the design of our system and that is the truth and no amount of political ideology or economic studies or knowledge is going to change that. Of course  I haven't even touched on the concept of wealth and how that is different from money or what not but that is for a later time perhaps or just google it if you are impatient.      Now It probably surprises some that unlike my previous posts I am not dropping f-bombs like my friend drops dollar bills at the strip club but that largely due to this being less of an angry rant and more of a lecture or an monologue of some sort. already got all my angry out today in other ways but I am sure I have some more fire in my next post. Anyway the whole purposes of this post was not to say fuck rich people but to provide thought about how to start looking at the world differently and in a larger sense or else you will end up like many people and never knowing anything outside of their limited line of sight. Anyway I plan on posting more regardless and a more regular basis.

Stop Using The Word Gender Wrong you Ignorant Dumbass

           In America we live in a glorious era where knowledge is literally at our finger tips. The world wide web has made it so even the laziest of the lazy can effortless look up all kinds of information, there is even a site for it.  So living in a time where we can look up the  definitions of words why the hell do  people not even know the meaning of the word they are using. See the new hot topic in terms of social issues has been about transgender rights and such since banning gay marriage was ruled unconstitutional . now in just a short amount of time  people have already made complete asses of themselves and one way this has been done is through the misuse and misunderstanding of words.       the thing is that religion has been shown as a pretty poor bases for an argument when it comes to social issues these days so people are  exploring new ways to relief  their cognitive dissonance and justify their hate towards someone because no one believes they are a bad person. so of course people decide to appeal to good old science though that is a rather futile attempt since most people in america lack anything beyond a surface understanding for we our a country of ignorance.  so a popular argument I have seen recently says that biological there are only two genders as you are either born with a y chromosome or an x. now to begin with this is already wrong from a biological stand point which a simple google search would have explained but it is also wrong because gender doesn't mean what people think it does. That is right there is in fact a very high chance that those reading have been using the term wrong for their whole entire life. For you see gender doesn't actually have anything to due with chromosomes or whether your got danglely parts or an extra hole. That would be sex because as it turns sex isn't just a synonymy for fornication but your biology but that is not the point.              You see gender actually has to do with societal and cultural norms which create gender roles that we grow up trying to fill. That is why traits that we assume are innate to a man or a woman actually varies from society to society especially if you are not just looking at major world powers as it can vary widely. Gender actually is not biological at all so while people tend to take up the norms that is ascribe to their sex it is not actually sit in stone. Furthermore is that societies are not always limited to just two genders. Long story short gender has been used  incorrectly the entire time and no one is using the fucking term right. Not surprising then that people are basing arguments on non-existent scientific facts and then saying shit all the while thinking they are actually smart or some sort of damn intellectual  when they are just average Joe jackasses.                    The whole transgender debate has been stupid from the get go because people don't even know the proper definitions and don't know the first thing about sociology, gender studies, or basic psychology. I mean if people would stop and use the internet to actually educate themselves instead of engaging in debate they are ill equipped for we might actually not be about as stupid as all those that came before us and repeat the same cycle over and over again. So please just use a damn dictionary or at least a wiki before you debate a topic you are new to. Actually better yet just stop giving a damn so much about crap that doesn't actually affect your life in any meaningful way at all like fuck don't you have bills to pay or something

Just Because I don't Agree With You Doesn't Make Me a Fucking Liberal

      The internet is an amazing invention of mankind that allows people all over the world to connect to each other leading to a variety of conversations with all kinds of different people. Unfortunately  many of those conversations end up being kind of fucking stupid because regardless of age, ethnicity. sex. nationality and so on humans in general are self absorbed, biased, jack asses that have a limited understanding of how the world as a whole works and even less how to form a proper argument. Seriously we need to make debating a  a required course for public education or something because it gets pretty annoying after a while. Anyway one thing I notice that often happens particular during periods of political tension such as elections or the aftermath of a mass shooting is that people make assumptions and a lot of them which you know what they say assuming makes you an ignorant ass moron. Wait that isn't the saying? Well screw it I am sticking with it.         Now to set the stage for this particular story we shall start with a little background information. See I have habit that when someone posts something on things like facebook that is completely devoid of any logical base regardless if the conversation involves me or not I feel the need to explain why what they said was completely wrong and pointless. Think of it as retribution for me having to suffer through seeing something so stupid on my feed. Anyway so I have a facebook friend who is quite pro gun control and Liberal in general which is whatever, he can do whatever he wants. The whole topic of gun control and gun rights is something I dislike getting into because It is more often than not an issue argued with emotions rather than logic and both sides tend to be a little too extreme. I'll will tell you right now that everyone having a gun is just as poor of an idea as it being illegal for anyone to own a gun. The answer to reducing needless firearms related death probably requires ideas from both sides as well some that neither side every considers because deep down that is not their main or true goal, but that is not the point.                               So somebody responds to my friend's pro gun control status with a poor analogy. They said that if you are going to ban guns you should also ban pressure cookers since they can be used to kill a large amount of people too. I am a big fan of analogies so when people sit there after a bad one and seemed to think they said some smart shit I  feel the need to correct such confusions.                                                                                                                 Now dear reader please tell me you understand why this analogy is terrible. If you do understand please feel free to skip to the next paragraph if not then listen and I shall explain. The reason is simple, when someone uses a gun to kill a living being it is in fact fulfilling it's primary function. regardless whether you use it to hunt for food or protect your family it's function is to launch metal projectiles to pierce flesh which often leads to death. In short guns are designed to kill things or at least put some nasty holes in them. Now a pressure cooker is not, it is designed to heat up and cook things, normally food. In short a pressure cooker's design and function is to cook. Using it to kill people usually involves modifying it for a new functions to turn it into explosive though i suppose you could beat people over the head till they die but you can do that with most things.  Guns come off the shelf able to kill people once you load some ammo into it while pressure cookers come off the shelf able to cook food once you add some water. Okay are we good? well if not screw it I did my best, well not really but the best that I am willing to at the moment so you are just going have to live with your ignorance I guess.        Of course the person responded but instead of addressing why his analogy was not complete garbage or accepting that it was trash  instead mostly blabbed off the standard rehearsed pro gun rights rhetoric that most gun right advocates default to which is one of the reasons every single damn gun debate turns into a stupid pointless conversation that America has been repeating since the day I was born and that shit makes me fucking crazy. Like I wasn’t even talking for or agaisnt gun control I just speaking out about his illogical  and poor analogy. He did at some point managed to make some kind of argument among his walls of pointless and irrelevant text. Of course I quickly shoot down his weak argument or at least the parts that were remotely relevant which was not much as everything he said did not refute anything I said.  Before I knew it I was being called something along the lines of a stupid liberal and assumed a lot about my life and beliefs. Of course most if not all of them were wrong because while most people think they have the ability to infer and analyze others words and actions well people actually tend to suck ass at it from my experience. eventually the conversation broke down and became a mess. I ended the conversation explaining that nothing he said changed the fact that his analogy was fucking stupid and that he might want to learn how to argue better preferable by learning basic reading comprehension because by that point we where having two completely unrelated discussion because of his lack of ability to read and make reference to what others say.        The thing is i have seen this happen multiple times, like no joke I have ran into quite a few people who seemed to only know how to discuss with a certain framework and if you don't fall into it they have no ability to have an actual conversation. Like they assume if you disagree with them then you must automatically must be a part of some opposite group of thought or ideals. Like bro it has nothing to do with liberals and conservatives  or pro this or that. It has everything to do with you being a idiot or at least misinformed but I guess that thought doesn't cross most people's minds. there are probably a lot of reasons for this but this rant has gone on long enough and would require covering topics about psychology and sociology and honestly i am not ready for that.So to conclude just because i disagree with you doesn't mean I am fucking Liberal you stupid shallow minded fucks. P.S going try to have future entries not be so long though It honestly is going to vary based on my mood and the topic at hand

I Like to Rant Sometimes

         So hello and welcome to my blog. Now I am going to level with you and be absolutely honest with you, I am kind of completely terrible at intros.  It always ends up feeling like I am trying to sell something, like hello welcome to this wonderful blog. It will clean your yard and relieve your back pain and it can be yours for 10 easy payments of 19.99 OH YEAH! Now getting back on topic this blog’s primary purpose is as advertised to give me a space to rant on a variety of topics as I like to rant as it is great way to coop with stress. The reason for this is twofold. In my case i have a space to vent and let out the crap that goes on in my head and you may find entertainment and even knowledge or wisdom out of it or not you might get nothing but give it a try. Honestly if you are stumbling across a blog like this you are probably bored anyways and have too much time or I know you offline and pulled your leg and possibly both arms to read it.  Honestly this whole thing wasn't even my idea to begin with, long story short due to injury I been stick indoors which is maddening after a while. So my friend said you should make a blog which honestly sounds like too much work but then the madness of being stuck inside kicked in and it became a great idea.        Regardless lets try to enjoy new experiences and such. Now I should warn you there will definitely be what one would call vulgar language in this blog and topics that might cause controversy or unease. If that makes you uncomfortable I suggest you stop reading, actually I don't suggest that at all. I encourage you to read regardless, open your mind, push your limits and so on. don't be a wimp. Now some quick background info on me though you are just getting the basics. I live America in some state and city. Have a family I don't completely hate and currently am not married or have children.  My age is old enough to have gone through some stuff but not past my promised midlife crisis. Also unmistakably white in terms of skin color like I am pretty pale. Look i am only telling you all this because these thing might be relevant at some point so best to get it out of the way now. Anyway that concludes the intro. Have fun and try to make something of you day or feel free to read more entries if they happen to be up at this point.
