okay i cant stop thinking about parallel universe au so. another thought dump by yours truly, wahey! :)

directly adding to my tags on your post, i think actually as much as it hurts marc to see mar and vale together and making it work, it actually. does help marc.

i think fundamentally when it comes to parallel universe aus, vale always gets placed into circumstances that very much go against his delusions, to force him to realize how dumb(tm) he’s been. like thats the thing the higher power is convinced he needs to get shoved in his face because on his own he’s too stubborn to get out of the hole he digged himself.

with marc however. i feel when he gets put into another universe it is meant as a different kind of lesson. he already knows what happened, he has realized that he might have been a bit too aggressive in parts but. he knows that in general all the pain vale subjected him to is not what he deserved. he is someone who goes all in and is so attached to the people he loves and hopes hopes hopes vale and him will get together again eventually. but. after 9 years of virtol and vale hauling thinly veiled insults at marc via podcasts. it is easy to. start doubting. and i think what a higher power would want marc to learn is. that there IS still hope. that there are other universes where they figured it out.

i can imagine marc routinely travelling to several other universes where him and vale are together, always a different gender, slightly different circumstances, but fundamentally its always them. when he comes back from the first few travels i think he might go oh. maybe im shown all this. because maybe my universe is one of the few where it DOESNT work out. and then he travels to more and more and. yes he has sex with most of them (and its INSANEEE. tender and hot and so so good) but. most importantly. he spends hours talking to all of them. asking questions. especially asking all the different vales questions he never had the chance to ask his own vale. he learns A LOT but specifically. the universes that are most similar to his own are the ones he finds most interesting. he understands where he and his own vale failed in their communication. he gets how they’d need to talk to each other to make it work long term. he already knew that it was vales turn to make the first step. to apologize. but he understands better what might be holding him back.

he thinks the travels to different universes might stop when he made his realizations but. they continue.

and i think he eventually understands what that higher power wants to tell him. that this is not only. about him learning what they need to do to set things right. not only about hope. but also. that this is the higher power taking care of him. a source of comfort until his vale is ready to give marc what he always deserved <3

anyway i just find the thought hilarious that marc is travelling to other universes getting deliciously dicked down by a myriad of different vales (and marcs) meanwhile vale is. also sent on a parallel universe journey but. is having the WORST TIME EVER because he slowly realizes how extensively he has fucked up :)

honestly? Very little to add. I love the thought of some cosmic power looking at sad murder bebegurl mm93 and going 'oh this bitch needs to feel loved. and get dicked down-' and thus gives him the power to go universe jumping. As much as I'll go insane world-building, I also love me an au that's just based on Vibes. WizardGigi says hi.

But yeah, the thought of Marc hitting up Mar and Vale for some good ol' dick and looking at a working relationship (i'm not saying sane or healthy or communicative. but working) is very fun. He's very proud knowing he's got great tits and a great ass in every universe.

the big problem I'd see is convincing Vale. Because Marc sees what could be and gains hope, like you said (probs to you, btw, I was much too focused on sad convo and Mar wanting to castrate Marc's Vale, to see Stubborn to a fault Marc going 'oh, so I can get old italian dick in my universe, specifically from that One Old Italian :3'.

Maybe Vale gets yeeted into another verse at some point when whatever higher power, calling it El rn, get fictionalised idiot, goes 'ffs man, look at him!!! all he ever wanted was to race and win and suck your dick!!! You can't be that delusional!!!' (oh he can. blessed be cult leaders)

plus points of fun if he gets thrown at Mar and Vale at some point. Because they're sooooooo disgusting at all points but Mar is so, so unforgiving and Vale is not used to being faced with an actually Hating Version of Marc. Mar went through sportsjournalism in motorsport as the first woman in the biking categories starting ageeeee

actually ever since she first stepped on a track next to boys and beat them. That woman is made of steel.

And Vale gets thrown at the ranch actually, sees the small figure of Mar in Vale shorts and shirt, shouting instructions with a megaphone and from the back, she looks just like Marc and Vale's brain stops working. When it boots up again, he gets ready to march down there and ask what the fuck 'he' thinks he's doing here, only to see himself (??????) walk up to Mar, put a hand beneath the big shirt and lean down for a kiss.

and then he has to start running at some point because a small, angry, spanish woman is hunting him with a pair of rusty scissors in hand, screaming rapid fire catalan at him.

but yeah, truly don't have much to add. Let em fuck, let em face themselves, literally, and lose their mind and heart about it.

I LOVE the fact that Kim is SO lethal , bloodthirsty , a cold blooded killer with no mercy,etc. But with Chay he literally starts acting up like a lovely fool, the biggest clown ever with zero affective responsibility.

Kim Prefers Using His Hands.

What’s really crazy about Kim is that in this moment, he could’ve picked up the gun and shot this man dead, but instead, he chooses to savagely beat him with his own fists and then, when faced with another goon, decides to take a bottle to his head and then cleans his hands before starting up again. Like he’s taking care of his greatest weapon: himself.

Kim doesn’t always need a gun, as the start of the fight scene shows us this, but he chooses not to use a gun here because he wants to physically beat these guys down, and his face after he kicks the gun away definitely depicts a man who enjoys hands on violence.

At the very end, when Porchay is mere inches from danger and he’s surrounded, only then does he get a gun and expertly kills four people via gunshot. And when the last guy gets up, Kim’s body language appears almost passive, uninterested while shooting him down. 

Dare I say that Kim finds gun violence boring. Dare I say he finds it too easy to shoot people. He rather tear people apart with his bare hands. And that’s terrifying.
