im a fictive of juuzou suzuya, and seeing doubles/irls just makes me... so incredibly uncomfortable? i start feeling nauseous and dissociated,,

especially when they say "if you think you're me dni" or something like that, and sound rlly salty abt it.. like thats literally a reality check within itself,, and kinda invalidating to fictives- like just say "doubles dni", its not reality checking and not that hard! we're also psychotic so other alters with identity delusions also feel this way when they're reality checked. idk it just makes me so upset for some reason :[

So Billie Eilish, a recording artist who makes millions with her creative work, has teamed up with Adobe, a multi-billion company, to bring us a contest where artists make merch designs for her for free, and only the winner gets paid. Sorry, a “prize”. And part of the “prize” is exposure.

Oh, and if you submit an entry, whether you win or not, you give them the right to use your work.

Contests like this are a scam. They’re exploitative. Always. They’re a way to get people to do work for free, and only pay the “winner”.

Billie Eilish makes music. She is a creative professional herself who makes money, a lot of money, with her art. She can afford to pay an artist to design her tour shirt. Adobe can afford to pay artists to do design work.

If she wants to give fans the opportunity to work for her - just invite portfolio submissions. Let artists send you work they’ve already done, pick one whose style you like, and hire them to make a design for you. Easy.

This, though? This is trying to use her fame to get people to work for her for free. This is trying to exploit her fans. Note how the key selling point they picked for the tweet isn’t the cash prize, it’s the exposure. This entire thing is based on the hope that people will be so excited to have their work officially featured by Billie Eilish that they’ll work for free just for the chance.

Don’t enter “art contests” like this. It’s not a contest, it’s a scam.

we're a did system, and bc we're pro endo, we feel unsafe in traumagenic tags/osddid tags or "safe spaces". despite being professionally diagnosed with did for a few years now. it sucks bcz we'd like to meet ppl who share similar symptoms to us/are disordered :[

Host Post: Sharing and Compromises

Maybe this is obvious, but I just wanted to say that if you want your headmates to respect you, respect them back. If a headmate wants to front while you're doing something, a "later" is always better than a "no." If what you're doing is important, or them fronting at that moment could create issues, try to explain that in a way that they'll understand.

Then while they're fronting, let them have the freedom to do what they want so long as it won't harm the system or others.

Sometimes, this might lead to some awkward situations, like having to explain why you were barefoot in 30 degree weather, trying and failing to climb a tree (really, Almond?) but it's worth it so that your headmates feel respected.

If your headmate wants to do something that you don't want them to, try your best to work out a compromise. Don't just refuse off the bat.

I haven't always been able to give Sophie everything she's wanted, but what I've learned is that getting exactly what she wants is often less important to her than just knowing that I respect her as a person and am willing to make compromises to make her happy. Although occasionally, if something is really important, no compromise is enough, and in those cases, it's good to be open to doing things that make you uncomfortable to make someone you care about happy.
