Welcome to iRS-LD and iRS-LD-DAQ. These boards are Serial LCD boards. iRS-LD is only Serial LCD board while iRS-LD-DAQ is having additional 16 input output pins which can be used for Data Acquisition purposes apart from using it as regular serial LCD. Arduino Mega 2560 with iknowvations Experiment Board
Arduino Mega 2560 is a very popular microcontroller board using ATMEGA 2560 controller from ATMEL. The card has got 54 input/output pins. 14 of these pins can be used for PWM operation. 16 pins can be used for Analog inputs. Apart from this there are 4 UARTs.
There are 16 MHz crystal, a USB connector, DC power jack, ICSP header and a Reset button on board apart from 4 LEDS on the board. Just connect to you PC USB port and you are ready to go. It is that simple.
To do different kind of experiments with such boards, you need some kind of card on which you can place various components as per your requirement. Experiment Board from iknowvations can be such card.
