butch dyke on T?

hi, i never really contributed to tumblr much (on this account, got locked out an old once from when i was like 13)

i want to ask any of you why you decided to go on T - what made you feel ready/confident - how do you feel about it now?

i'm really lucky that access to T wouldn't be too difficult, i know people in my city on HRT so i know the process is possible for me within probably two months - but what i am apprehensive about is more so the social aspect of it all, talking to friends, family etc. explaining that i am not a man, i am in a sense non-binary but what i feel describes me best is 'butch' - trying to make people understand the complexities of that seems harder than anything else

anyway, any thoughts would be appreciated
