while i'm making text posts i feel compelled to say that i genuinely keep forgetting that tf2 soldier is not canonically transgender. like his name is mister jane doe. hes the blueprint of transgenderism to me. like oh yeah soldier the guy who they wouldn't let into the army bc he was a woman (sic) so he transitioned and flew himself to europe to punch nazis. like. is this not canon. its canon to me. hes so transgender its insane. i bet he doesnt even know what trans people are he just thinks its a normal reaction to getting kicked out of the army

I can't help but feel worried now after somehow making this character trans (sort of). It wasn't even my intention originally it just sort of ended up that way due to worldbuilding and wandering ideas but I ended up liking it.
I see fandoms making random characters trans and messing with the genders of established characters ALL THE TIME and yet I feel like if I do it in my own original work I'm going to be attacked.
I guess i should just get over it. The internet is always going to come up with any reason to attack anyone for anything :/
