I just wanted to share something I found when combing through Helluva Boss for screenshots.

In "Truth Seekers", at the end of the episode, Blitzø offers to fuck Stolas.

To which Stolas accepts before leaning in to kiss him. But look at Blitzø's expression when he notices him doing that.

His expression turns soft. Genuine emotion slips through, only for a moment.

It's only a few frames and lasts around a second. It's blink and you miss it before he goes back to being sexual. But I just thought it was such a sweet detail.

I think this reaction ties well into the message of this episode.

I feel like it shows Blitzø's want for intimacy, but also how disconnected he is from it.

You can see the surprise on his face. The soft look. He desires affection.

But Blitzø is very quick to turn it back sexual because that falls within his comfort zone. Because he doesn't know how to handle the intimacy he craves.

idk why but i looked back on ur old comic Wilhemina the Weasel and I feel like Gnosh and Chester's trope is 'Angry husband who has a soft spot for wife x said wife' LIKE CHESTER WOULD PROBS KILL FOR HER EVEN THO HE WON'T ADMIT IT

This is actually pretty close to what they are! I wanted them to have the Pinky and the Brain trope, but instead of having Gnosh make up for her lack of intelligence by being strong/agile/sociable/etc, she's entirely useless and bad at everything, but Chester cares about her more than anything else in the world.

Also, I should probably clarify that Chester furrows his brows when he's concentrating on something. But, due to how he constantly has to prevent Gnosh from getting herself killed, it became his neutral expression (aka Chester has a resting bitch face).
