So … I’m a college student going to school on 90% loans and I don’t qualify for anything but institutional jobs at my school which are few and far between and knowing me I couldn’t handle a regular job in town while going to classes so I’m opening commissions for the first time ever!

Find Your Quarian Name

Somebody asked for a Quarian name generator in the Asari name maker tags, so here you all go :) Quarian names are way more complicated than Asari ones, so this is a little longer.

Given Name: - First syllable of your preferred first name or nickname - Middle(ish) syllable of your birth city (first if the name is short)

Clan Name (separated from given by apostrophe): - First syllable of your mother’s first name (or other important person to you) - Last syllable of your current city’s name (spelled phonetically) - NOTE: “Tasi” means “no one” in Quarian. If you don’t like your clan name or don’t want to make a clan name, then Tasi is an acceptable replacement!

Are you vas or nar? - Vas means “crew of [ship name]” and nar means “child of [ship name]”, so this is really just up to your preferences. - But if you can’t pick, then choose vas if your age is an EVEN number and nar if your age is an ODD number. - OR you could choose vas if you feel that you’ve gone through a “pilgrimage” (experience, milestone, or event) that you feel separates you significantly as an adult from your childhood self. 

Ship Name: - First syllable of your fav video game character’s name (spelled phonetically) - Last two syllables of your tumblr URL - NOTE: “Nedas” means “nowhere”. So if you don’t like or don’t want your ship name, then Nedas is an acceptable substitute! 

So for example, my Quarian name could be Shadi’Sulees vas Mahrian (because my favorite game character is also the last word in my URL lol). But it could also be Remay’Tasi nar Nedas, or any combination thereof, depending on my choices.

Asari First Name: - First 3 letters of your preferred first name - Last two or three letters of your mothers middle name (your choice) - Put in an apostrophe if you’re in the mood

Asari Last Name: - First letter of your birth city - Last half(ish) of your middle name - Add a T’ prefix if your current age is an even number

Regarding Reyes v Sloane: you don't have to pay for protection if you pick Reyes, he includes the angara, and doesn't actively hate you or your affiliations. But that's about it tbh. There isn't a WOLRD of difference between how the two run things. It's all dependent on your priorities, I guess.

anyway. reyes still charges you money. he doesn’t call it protection money because he’s a weaseling ass. he just takes a cut of your profits from trading. literally the same thing. also sloane most definitely already respected the angara. she kills a man just to appease them. she had an angara in her personal circle to help with advising, the same angara reyes “promotes” to head of kadara, which is really just him hiding behind her. so anyway. tell me again how picking reyes does anything but kill a woman in cold blood for literally no reason.

You may also post it wherever you like, CREDITING me please! Simply tagging me or linking to my blog is fine! You may not use my photo for commercial purposes (unless stated prior to paying, because we would have to discuss that!).
