By-product coke factory. Kamenskoe.
The best way to support me is to repost this post.
The history of the Dnieper Coke Plant - one of the first enterprises of the domestic by-product coke industry - began in 1931, from the moment the first coke was dispensed. Already before 1940, the plant reached its design capacity and became one of the best coke plants in the country. The enterprise produced high-quality and cheap coke in Ukraine; it was repeatedly awarded with government awards. In 1950, DKHZ produced one tenth of the coke produced in Ukraine. In 1996, the Dneprodzerzhinsk Coke Plant named after S. Ordzhonikidze was reorganized into JSC "Dneprodzerzhinsk Coke Plant". EVRAZ acquired 93.83% of shares in Dneprodzerzhinskiy Coke Plant OJSC at the end of 2007. As of April 30, 2011, Evraz's fate in DKHZ was 93.86%

DMK factory. Kamenskoe.
In the last third of the 19th century, Russia entered a period of industrial growth. The industry developed especially rapidly in the Yekaterinoslav province, on the territory of which most of the industry of the south of the country was concentrated.
The Catherine Railway, built in 1884, connected the Donetsk coal and Krivoy Rog iron ore basins and passed near the village of Kamenskoye (since 1917 - the city of Kamenskoye, from 1936 to 2016 - the city of Dneprodzerzhinsk, since 2016 - the city of Kamenskoye). The geographical position of the village (considering the practically unlimited water resources) created all the prerequisites for the construction of a large metallurgical enterprise here.
In May 1886, as a result of the merger of the "Society of the Warsaw Steel Works", which was on the verge of bankruptcy, and the Belgian company "Kokkeril", the South-Russian Dnieper Metallurgical Company was created (27% of the capital in which belonged to French partners).
