It's officially moving day and I'm honestly so excited to be out of this toxic, energy sucking, hellhole.

Hey bud! I don't know who else to vent to about this but wow I'm feeling so much more bothered by this than I think I should be.

Okay so a few days ago some dude messaged me and I responded, bc I saw the potential of a friend being made. We talked a bit, we ended up adding each other on whatsapp and we've been talking quite a bit. It was nice. He sent me a picture of himself with his dog, and I image searched his picture bc I'm paranoid as fuck lol but I got no results, so I assumed it was him and I sent a picture back and he was being really flirty! So I was being flirty back! I don't usually do that, I'm usually much more closed off bc of trauma, but I stupidly let myself think that this had the slightest bit of potential to go somewhere, and he seemed to be leaning towards that as well!! I was so over the moon for a short while, gaaah-

He sent another picture of himself and I got the urge to image search the picture again and it's just some influencer, the picture he used was hella old lol I blocked him so fast. I feel dumb and I think I'm just lonely, bc I've been crying for at least an hour now, but wow I feel like I should just never date ever again bc if it's not a catfish, it's a dude wanting me to be a rebound while he's still in a relationship aaaaah

Let me tell you I definitely understand this a little too well. I was catfished a lot. Dated a lot of crappy people. And it felt like it was never ending. I gave up a lot just to get right back into it. Eventually I came to terms with being single and dating for fun, and then I met my now fiance.

Things will look up. Focus on you and what makes you happy, good things will follow.
