Imagine how scared she was when she almost stepped on a mine. Never in her life did she run so panicked after that moment. The sight of the behemoth going flying was enough to satisfy her though. That and she's too proud to admit she was scared.

He likes that you didn't get hurt and worked around the obvious power imbalance. In your favor of course. The world is more hostile than ever so knowing there are things you can do to be smart about it really warms the heart. He decides to trust your judgment on how far he should stand and tries not to think about how close you are.

【Danse】 "Well done, soldier."

He helped with the prep and only allowed you to be the lure because he was in power armor so he wouldn't be very fast. Pre-BB and Post-BB both like this for the same reason; it's quick, efficient, and minimizes casualties. Post-BB however is more concerned about your safety and watches the whole time very closely while you lure it.

He's impressed, especially because not only did you leave the fight completely unharmed but the thing went fucking flying. And he didn't even need to be high to see it. Best believe he's going to be telling everyone in Goodneighbor to the point you'll be even more of a local legend, I'm talking random kids coming up to you to ask if it's true kind of legend.

【MacCready】 "Saves me the work."

He was suppose to be your gun-for-hire so when you took all the work out of it seemingly he was all for it, even told you you were doing a great job as he sat on the sidelines. He'll only help if you ask, otherwise he will stay out of it. Whistles when he sees it go flying, thoroughly impressed.

【Preston】 "Is everyone okay?!"

The explosion was cool and all but if anyone was around at the time he's checking to see if they're okay. Explosives do a lot of damage. Buildings nearby are not going to be okay at the very least. If people were near he'll organize a search party to see if people are under any rubble. He gives you thanks because you took care to limit casualties and everyone was safe at the end of the day.

Okay all of these are completely valid but I think there is one right answer. But first let me eliminate the other two.

Brosca and Cadash probably would have some choice words with each other seeing how they both came from the Carta but I don't think they would particularly have too much to beef about because at the end of the day they're not direct enemies. Depending on where they fall in the Carta I think they could have a lot of things to talk about whether or not they be negative or positive. Honestly I think eventually they would just bond. Not to mention Brosca at that point would already be the Hero of Ferelden so they would already have legitimacy, more legitimacy than The Inquisitor.

Cadash and Aeducan could be very interesting considering one was a noble while the other one was a surface dwarf. This runs into an interesting dynamic but at the end of the day I don't think they would go out of their way to talk to one another. I doubt they would have very much in common except for hyperspecific things like maybe a love of cheese but other than that the only thing guiding them together is the fact that they became the face of movements that they didn't mean to. And Cadash wasn't from Orzamar while Aeducan was the second in line to the throne. Very different life experiences.

But Aeducan and Brosca... Y'all aren't ready for that. Especially if you have it so they were both in the proving because canonically both of them win. You see where I'm getting at. They would either have tied or have not finished the fight. And they would have had to meet in the first game so both of them are Grey Wardens now. Just traveling with these two would be insane. Brosca and Aeducan constantly hashing it out over dwarven politics that they both lived through. Aeducan trying to obtain and remain Superior to this castless person that they see is lesser inherently even if they're progressive. The idea that they almost lost to this person is dehumanizing. Brosca would be eating this shit up. They would constantly bring up how they almost beat them, no matter how big or small that chance was they were able to keep up long enough to fight them. If I had a nickel every time I fell in love with a character played by Lewis Pullman who was a shyish introvert, stayed a little in the background but can't be ignored because he's too important to the story and too cute, who's name was Bob, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice.
