A/n I first want to say that I’m so sorry for taking so long to update. I may or may not have forgotten my password but I’m back now ;) The other requests are all on their way! So I hope you have fun reading

You smiled to yourself as you casually strolled through Central Park. A soft breeze caressed your flushed face. With your camera in one hand and a warm drink in the other, you took in the beautiful sight around you. The fallen leaves looked like an autumn carpet, and kids hung from the bare branches of trees. Though all the sights were perfect to you, there was one that caught your eye. Sitting a few feet away from you a man with a blue coat and a case seemed to be intrigued by the ducks that swarmed around his feet as they picked at the breadcrumbs he had given them. You focused your camera on the mystery man, careful not to draw his attention. But of course the sound of the picture being taken made his head snap up. Well, there’s no going back now.

“Excuse me, I’m sorry if I seemed like some kind of stalker, but I like to take unexpected pictures. I find they are the most beautiful ones because it shows a person’s true feelings in that exact moment. I’m really sorry if I was rude or anything.” You apologized as you walked towards him.

“Oh no, it’s fine. I was just a tad surprised that’s all.” He said in an obvious British accent. “I’m Newt by the way. Newt Scamander.”

“Y/n Y/l/n. I take it you’re new here?”

“I’ve been here for a while now, but I’m afraid I haven’t got the time to go sight-seeing yet. I was actually planning on exploring a bit today.”

“Maybe I could show you around? I know the city like the back of my hand, it wouldn’t be a problem. That is if you want to hang out with me of course.” You slightly blushed as you internally lectured yourself for being so direct.

“Why wouldn’t I want to hang out?” His head slightly turned to the side with a confused expression. To be honest it was adorable.

“Most people find that I can be a bit too bubbly for their liking.” The sadness was evident in your voice. Your parents had always taught you that you should be kind to everyone, and you had always followed their advice. But for some reason people didn’t want to get to know you.

“I don’t see how anyone could be too bubbly.” He smiled at you before offering his arm. You gladly took it as the two of you went on your journey through the busy streets of New York.

Sooner than you wanted it to, the day came to an end. Newt had offered to walk you home, and thus you went on your way to your small apartment. Slowly but surely you felt his hand slide into yours, entwining your fingers as he delicately rubbed the back of your hand with his thumb. 

“Did you enjoy today?” You asked once you reached your destination.

“I-I, well, y-you, I m-mean.” A thousand words seemed to try and come out of his mouth all at once until he finally settled for a simple “Yes.”.

“I did too, I hope I’ll see you again.” You said, kissing him on the cheek before disappearing into the building.

*Time skip because I can* 

It had been four weeks since you met Newt, and to you these were the best weeks of your live. You loved his adorableness, you loved his little quirks, you loved the freckles that littered his face, you loved the way he shyly smiled when he talked about his dreams and hopes, you loved the twinkle in his eyes when he learned new things. You loved him. 

The two of you were walking through the park when he stopped to look at you. “I’ve got something to tell you, Y/n.” He said.

“What is it? Is everything okay?” 

“Look, this might sound crazy and you probably won’t believe me but I just need you to know.” He took a deep breath before going on. “I’m a wizard.”

“You’re a what?” You asked bewildered. 

“A wizard.”

“You mean like bibbedi bobbedi boo?”

“I’m afraid I don’t know what that is.” (and how could he, I mean that’s almost thirty years after this moment but oh well)

“It’s a-you know, never mind. I really want to believe you since I trust you, but I’m gonna need some proof.” He seemed to think about this for a second before quickly pulling you behind a tree and opening his case. You assumed he was just gonna show you his pointy blue and silver wizard hat and his sparkly wand, but instead he casually walked into the case as if he was using stairs. For a moment you were too amazed to move, until his hand appeared motioning you to come inside.

The inside of the case was the most wonderful thing you had ever seen. Of course you hadn’t been inside a suitcase before, but still. You were immediately greeted by a small creature with long white fur. You laughed as it carefully touched your leg.

“That’s Dougal.” Newt said. “He likes you.”

“Alright, I think I believe you. But I do have a question.” You smiled, petting the little ball of fur.

“I’m surprised you only have one, but go ahead.”

“Can you erase memories?” This seemed to put him on edge.

“Yes, but why would you want to know that?” Slight fear laced his voice.

“Because you can erase mine if this turns out to be a huge mistake.” You said before pulling him towards you by his collar and crashing your lips on his. It took him a moment to realize what was going on, making you pull away until he grabbed your waist. He pulled you closer, his hand softly caressing your cheek. Reluctantly you both pulled away for air, resting your foreheads together.

“Never mind,” You breathed. “I never wanna forget this.”

You followed the others up the stairs as you frantically changed your faction clothes for some amity clothes, in hopes they wouldn't notice. Everyone started walking to what you had grown to call the meeting room, trying to blend in with the amity people. You looked behind you where Susan and Tris were laughing together as if they'd been in this faction their entire life. Everyone seemed to blend in perfectly except one dark haired boy. The boy you had grown to love through initiation, though he was a real jerk. Peter's frown stood out against all the happy faces. You quickly pushed your way towards him, grabbing his hand to get his attention. "Peter," you said. "You need to smile more. They'll catch you if you don't." "So what if they catch me? I'm not gonna act all happy-go-lucky." He huffed. Out of the corner of your eye you could see one of the dauntless traitors looking suspiciously at Peter. "Peter, come on. There must be something that can make you happy?" For a moment his eyes focused on your face, his frown faltering for a bit. By now the traitor was starting to walk your way, making you panic for a solution. Being an erudite to dauntless transfer you quickly thought about the act that PDA makes people uncomfortable. So you did the only thing you could think of. "Trust me on this, Peter." You said before crashing your lips on his. He was shocked at first, but soon wrapped his arm around your waist and used his other hand to cradle your face. Your arms snaked around his neck, playing with the hairs on the nape of his neck. After what felt like only seconds you had to pull away for air. You rested your forehead against his, happily sighing. "Maybe I should frown more often." Peter grinned playfully. The dauntless traitor had turned away by now, so you quickly pulled Peter with you. You both followed Tris and Susan as they entered the meeting room. A big smile was now plastered on Peter's face. With his arm still around your waist, you waited for what was about to come.

My jaw dropped when I saw my childhood best friend. She's always been pretty, but the sight of her now was just breathtaking. "Sam! I'm so glad to see you again." She exclaimed, flinging her arms around my neck. I awkwardly hugged her back, taking in her sweet scent. "I'm h-happy to see y-you too." My cheeks turned pink as I cursed myself for stuttering. "Y/n!" Lindsay interrupted us. "I missed you so much! The guys will be so happy to see you again, Nick especially." I'd always known about Nick's crush on Y/n, I just wished it wasn't true. "How about you kids go out for a walk while I finish dinner?" We had been walking for ten minutes when a car pulled up next to us. "Hey, Y/n. I heard you were back in town." Daniel Desario said, sticking his head out the window. "Yeah, we're probably gonna move back here." The sound of this made my heart skip a beat. There was a chance she'd stay here, with me. "How about you and Lindsay come take a ride with us?" Nick yelled, obviously not mentioning me. Lindsay was already running to the car, but Y/n didn't move. "I'm just gonna stay here with Sam." I looked down at her, a confused look on my face. She turned towards me as the car sped off. "You didn't have to stay with me. You could have gone with them." "I could've, but I don't want to." "How is staying with me better than hanging out with your friends." I felt pathetic but I just didn't understand why she would want to hang out with me. "You're my friend, Sam. And right now, I wouldn't want to be with anyone else." A slight smile played on my lips as I played her words over again in my head. Without noticing it I had started to lean in. Our lips were only millimetres apart, my heart was racing. I was about to close the distance when a car honked. "Aw come on, Daniel. They were about to kiss, you ruined the moment." My sister yelled. Apparently they had turned the car around when we weren't paying attention. "I told you they liked each other." Kim said laughing. Y/n covered her flushed face with her hands, hiding in my chest. I happily wrapped my arms around her small frame. "Don't mind them, they'll go away eventually." I smiled as she peeked through her fingers. "Too late, the moment has already been ruined." She said giggling. "How about we create an other moment? Let's say a pick nick tomorrow evening so we can watch the stars together?" "I'd like that." I pulled her into me again, resting my head on hers. *at the dinner table* "So would you like to come over for diner tomorrow too?" Mom asked. "I can't," Y/n said. "Sam and I are having a pick nick." Mom smiled happily, whispering an 'I knew it' under her breath. "I used to have a friend who went on pick nicks." Dad started. "You know where he is now? He's dead."
