Mini Announcement!

Hiya everyone!

Just to let you know that our shop is now live on our website! Please take a look at our activity boxes, they are perfect gifts for kids especially at this time of year!

More boxes will be added to our extend our range over the coming months!

Also, we had our second fair yesterday which was a great success! Thank you to all of those who came and either of bought a box, took a leaflet or just said how much they liked it! We are so grateful and extremely happy with the positive feedback we received! Thank you so much!!!

It was a long, busy day but worth it! And it was great to get home to my kids to see their smiles on their faces and telling me how much they had missed me! 😊 They were so happy we sold some boxes especially my eldest!

So to those people yesterday, thank you for our giving us our 'Happy dance' 😊😊

Lots more work to do this week to get ready for our next fair this Friday at Bounce Play Centre! Looking forward to it!

I just want to say a huge thank you to the @princestrust for supporting me over the past year! I can't believe I have launched my business and attended my first fair last week! Things weren't easy last year, I was going through #postnataldepression, finding it hard being a full time mum to three young children. However, out of my situation at home came my idea for kids activity boxes and I turned to the @princestrust enterprise programme. Thanks to them my confidence has grown and continues to do so, it got me through #pnd as it gave me something else to focus on. I'm so grateful, because it has changed everything. A Busy Week

Hi Everyone!

So this week has been rather busy! We have been getting our boxes ready for our first fair this Friday! It’s all been rather stressful, we have had equipment issues, mistakes being made and things just not working, but we are nearly there! We just keep going!

On top of that I haven’t been well and neither has my little girl, my eldest has just started back after half term  and we’ve had 3 family birthdays in the space of a week too as well doing the daily chores that we all have to do! I don’t have enough hours in the day at the moment!

We are nearly ready for the fair tomorrow, just a final few things to sort today and hopefully everything will be fine, but as I am mum today because my two youngest don’t go to nursery today the work will have to wait till after bedtime.

The only reason I am able to do this now is because my son is having his nap and my daughter is lay on sofa watching t.v. - a rare moment when I can enjoy a brew too!

Anyway, I will let you know how our first fair goes tomorrow! EEK!

Welcome to Our Blog

Hi Everyone!

So here goes - our very first post!

There will be two parts to our blog!

We will let you know the ins and outs of what goes on at I'm A Mini behind the scenes with the creating of our activity boxes for children and

secondly....

the trials and tribulations of making a go of the business whilst being mum, wife, housekeeper, cook oh and a launderette (I'm sure more people live in my house that I don't know about with the amount of laundry I have to do) etc!

Anyway....

It has taken over 12 months to get this point! A lot of hard work, many mistakes and sheer perserverance and here we are making our boxes ready for our first fairs and launching our website.

It hasn't been easy, expecially as I am a mum of three young children, so managing my time between being a full time mum and getting a business off the ground has certainly been a challenge. However, it's something I truly believe in and so that has driven me to keep going.

I will continue to post on our blog to keep you updated, as to what's happening! The next few weeks are going to be busy getting everything ready.
