Wait a minute what personality disorder do you think Undertaker has? 👀

I'm inclined to say either Borderline or mayyyybe Narcissistic, but I think his behavior aligns more with BPD!

I'm not a huge psychology nerd and have only taken a couple classes on it, and also don't know as much about BPD as I do about NPD, and only through personal research and reading textbook articles, so I sincerely apologize if I'm about to speak out of my ass 😭

Personality disorders can come about from multiple factors such as genetics, upbringing, trauma and etc, and even though we don't know much about UT's past, I think it's safe to say he has gone through not just physical but also psychological trauma while at dispatch, and beforehand too (we all know how people become reapers in the kuro universe 💀) .

His extreme attachment to the Phantomhives can stem from fear of abandonment and paranoia which are both indicative of BPD, and so are very "intense" relationships!

BPD also tends to be associated with outbursts of emotions and mania (tho I think manic episodes happen with Bipolar, not sure about BPD if someone can correct me pls do), and I think for UT that manifests through his, I almost wanna say playfulness?

Like, the way he conducts his blood collection facilities could be a lot more calculated and less risky (he has very openly killed a lot of people, taking extreme risks is indicative of both BPD and NPD, but thinking he can get away with it is leaning more into NPD), the at times innapropriate outbursts of laughter, his love for disguises and grand reveals which I think can be considered attention-seeking behavior (also can be attributed to both), and the crazy mood swing he had just now in the emerald witch arc.

He has also had less noticeable mood swings throughout the manga where he suddenly becomes wayyyy too serious, and like yea one can say they are just part of the disguise, but I think a lot of them were genuine (such as in ch. 142, or literally anytime he's around r!Ciel, it's like he's bouncing back and fourth between being silly and locked in, and when he's around r!Ciel he has no reason to act a specific way, so no disguise excuse)

Also, to finish off the post bcs some ppl aren't normal about ppl with personality disorders, having a personality disorder doesn't make anyone evil, but it also doesn't excuse shitty actions that people who do have them may go through with.
