Project Update

Hello friends and fans. I want to apologize yet again for leaving everyone hanging. I would like to share that this project will no longer be continuing. Due to everyone's personal circumstances, it has been difficult to meet and to create the game. In regard to my own personal struggles, I had a suspected mini-stroke back in November that has caused neuropathy on top of already having fibromyalgia. On top of my recovery being a mess of cognitive issues, I lost someone who was like a second father to me, as well as my best friend of 18 years. I hope this gives some clarity as to why the project was a little abandoned, and I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to providing this update sooner. With my life finally reaching a level of normalcy between returning to school and being able to function properly at my job again, I have mustered up passion and inspiration for the first time in months (after getting piercing and tattoo therapy lmao). I will be creating my own game inspired by the storyline of this fan project and a webtoon I wrote years ago. I'll give shameless plug of the blog once I have actual material to share, if any of you are curious or want to follow along the journey of building that game.

Thank you for all of your support and love to this game. I'm disappointed that it ended like this, but life sometimes has a way of steering you off the rails.

Many Moons Later Update!

Hey friends! Long time no talk!

I just want to apologize to start for the lack of updates during the past few months. There has been a lot going on in my personal life that has added some complications into progress on the project. The team has also had their own personal happenings going on, so we've all had to tone down the amount of work that has been putting. But rest assured, we are still working on this book!

As the main [and only] artist working on all of the assets, I wanted to provide some updates on some of the MC skins! To start, I came to the conclusion in April that I... well, hated most of the MC skins that I had initially made. So I have started going through and making newer and improved skins since the skill sets I've used have improved greatly since I started this project.

The only ones that have been completed at this time (as of yesterday actually!) are the femme!MC skins. And here's the updated ones below. The left is before and the right is after. The last three are the last 3 femme!MC skins that have not been previously shared.

And here they are! I'm much happier with the results of these femme!MC, and hope all of you are too. I want the quality of life while playing this game to be top notch, and this helps us get one step closer.

Please remember, the ask box is always open. I try to answer the questions as frequently as I can and I will be setting my attention on the project a lot more now that my motivation is making an appearance haha!

Hey there! I'm so sorry for the belated response on this. Yes we are! There have been a lot of circumstances in all of our personal lives that have stifled some of our progress, but the game is absolutely still being worked on :)

I'm hella excited for the other fanmade projects! With the conclusion of ILW, I don't think I'm alone in trying to find the next series to hyperfixate on lol

@immortaldesiresproject - was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed book 1; not a unique opinion to have, but I thought the ending left so many loose ends.

Not sure how PB will handle the sequel, but what I've seen so far from the fan project looks amazing! The outfits 😭😭 I'm very curious to see how each will handle the aftermath of MC's turning and their relationship between gabe/cas/both

@bloodboundsiege I downloaded the demo and am excited to check it out! I will admit that I'm still in the process of finishing the series (currently halfway through book 2). Personally, I didn't gravitate towards Bloodbound as much when it was first released. However, I'm having a good time in this recent playthrough- I might just find a playthrough on YouTube bc I'm impatient and want to fully appreciate the demo lol

@thedistantshoresproject Distant Shores, my beloved. It's been so long since I've played the original book, but I remember it being one of my favorites. The possibility of romancing Oliver again is too good for me to not keep an eye on this project ☺

I've heard wonderful things about the book (the classic PB story of an amazing standalone that deserved more). But if anyone who follows me didn't know about this, here ya go besties 🖤

@lawsofattraction3 Fairly new addition to the fanmade project renaissance, but I will be keeping an eye on this one. Joaquin deserved more lol. Y'all might be familiar with @oh-so-youre-a-nerd (Thia)- They've done amazing artwork for ILW (the ILW but make it tarot series is stunning) and they are currently part of this team as a CG artist 🖤

BLOODBOUND: THE SIEGE DEMO OUT NOW

The first two chapters for Bloodbound: The Siege is now available on itch.io for Mac and PC! You can download it here.

Since this is a demo, it is not perfect. There may still be bugs, and these first two chapters may be tweaked or changed for the official release. If you come across any bugs, you can let me know here on on itch.io.

How To Play: You can download the game for your respective operating system. While the game is not currently available on Android version will be made available ASAP.

Demo Features: -MC creation. -Introduction to four unique Clan routes and two gameplay routes. -Meeting the six LIs. -Seeing some familiar faces. -Some vampire adventures. If you post any reactions, screenshots, or anything else, feel free to tag them as #bloodbound the siege or tag this account (@bloodboundsiege)! I'd love to see it. Obviously, some of you already saw this post already because of a queue snafu last week, but I want to say it all again: thank you for coming with me on this weird journey through vampire-torn New York. The support and excitement I've gotten for this project has been both overwhelming and humbling, and it's so cool to finally get to share this with all of you. This has been a labor of love for Bloodbound. I hope y'all like playing this game as much as I liked making it.

Will you be taking on testers for the game?

Yes we will!

While we don't have an eta on release, nor updates at this time, I do hope to have a small group of testers, including the team, for each chapter to ensure that the chapters are running smoothly.

Ultimately, I would like to set up a beta test once we have a bit more content completed. We're hoping for this to be sooner than later!
