Certificates. I sometimes ask for help from other artists. Here’s something about certificates of authenticity. It’s good to have these made for mainly your originals when you sell them they should be like a work of art on their own to accompany the works they purchased for their collection. Some people will frame it, or keep them with the work or maybe separate. These are a few examples of how I do mine. I made a template on the computer and edited an old skull with wings drawing I made in a sketch book from way back in highschool.. maybe grade 10, then I use some melted wax to make a fancy stamp thing. It’s good to have something unique that says it’s yours and that it’s from you and not reproduced from China.. You should include the work title, the size and medium, maybe also details specifying if it’s part of a series or maybe a blurb about the work along with the date you made it. Including other details like your name and signing it, of course. These are things that collectors care about. Make yourself stand out from all these other “artists” and be more of a professional business person that you need to be. I’ve completed my mini triptych series of withered hearts. “A date for my heart” Oil and acrylic on panel 5x7 inch. They are supposed to somewhat resemble dried fruit.
