I moved here, goodness... three years ago now! Somehow it seems like so much shorter and so much longer at the same time.
How long have you lived here? Did you move here like I did or did you grow up in New York?

Sure, why not? I am a design major, after all. I mean I've never designed 3D glasses before, but it could be fun!
What about you, miss Brittany? What're you majoring in?
You can seriously do something like that?

Besides, who said that home has to be one place.

Coffee Shop Blues || Imogen & Clare
Imogen made her way quickly over to the coffee shop that she and Clare had decided upon to meet at, wondering what her new friend wanted to talk about. Although the younger girl hadn't explicitly said so, it seemed to Imogen as though there was something weighing on Clare's mind. Distracted by her thoughts she arrived at the coffee shop sooner than she would have expected, looking at the door in mild surprise before tugging it open and stepping inside.
After looking around and realizing she'd beaten Clare there, Imogen stepped into line and ordered a macchiato, paying and collecting her drink before sitting down at a booth. Not too long after the door opened once more and Imogen looked up, a small smile appearing on her face when she caught sight of the familiar figure.

Ah, gotcha! Yeah, I've definitely come across a few of those types in my time here.
I just mean I’ve met one or two that definitely have that harsher New York personality I’d heard of before. No one bad, though.

Aww, you think? Thanks! Erm... mostly nice?
Thanks! You’re really nice. I was a little worried about the type of people I’d meet in New York, but everyone seems super sweet so far. Well, mostly.

Still, it's impressive.
I just always try to do my best. No point to living up to anything less.

Welllllll, I promise that if the first thing we find isn't at least 90% edible, we can keep looking until we find something that is?
France was absolutely amazing

Well, those are good points. Ambitious, aren't you?
Nope! I mean, I can’t really afford to. It’s my senior year so I’m not going to be at this school for long. I want to make the most of it. Plus, objects in motion tend to stay in motion. I definitely like being in motion.

Hmm, I don't know that I'd say that! I mean Toronto's my home, but New York is my second home- not to mention being the one I chose, y'know?
Today was
It’s a smaller city actually. It’s alright really.
So, I guess you like Toronto better than New York?

Yeah? Never heard of it. Well I've heard of Ohio anyway, but not Lima. Is it a smaller city, or is that just my utter lack of knowledge of American cities shining through?
Today was
Lima, Ohio actually.

Wow, on the prowl for clubs already? Even though you just moved here? You don't slow down for anything, do you?
Yup! I’m still getting acquainted with the campus and the people. Currently I’m focusing on finding some clubs. You know, get involved a bit.

That's a healthy way of looking at it, I think. If you ever want a lunch date on campus just let me know, yeah?
