could you draw a bearded reedling? also called “the world’s roundest birds” ^^ they’re my favorites!

So I've forgot I don't know where most of my markers or colored pencils are so I resorted to some old pens and highlighters....

If you want me to draw something (does not have to be bird related) send a request!! I'm doing traditional art until I get my apple pen fixed or replaced :)

Yeah Humans lived on pretty much every continent for like a hundred centuries now, we weren’t introduced but migrated, evolution made us phenotypically adapt to our environment, we so yeah at this point we are native species.
The recent explosion of our population and fast destruction of our habitat has nothing to do about us being an invasive species, it's the industrial capitalism, not human nature, that caused this mess.
Humans aren’t an invasive species you absolute numbnuts. Even if we were it isn’t a good reason why your fucking cat should be allowed outside!

The second tome of Don Quichotte (edited ten year after the first) starts by acknowledging the other second tome of Don Quichotte written by someone other than Cervantes the year before, but since Cervantes claimed in the first tome that it is a true story transcribed from an ancient source his second tome just openly mocks the lack of originality of "the fake Don Quichotte" and claims that he found the oldest and better version of the text and transcribed it himself. And he rips the fake Don Quichotte apart throughout the book, it's so petty and so... Spanish in every way, I love it. If the first Don Quichotte was written to parody every Knight in shining armor book of his era, the second tome was written simply to say "don't stole my stuff" and to kill the man of la mancha to avoid any further fanfiction.
One of my favourite bits of media history trivia is that back in the Elizabethan period, people used to publish unauthorised copies of plays by sending someone who was good with shorthand to discretely write down all of the play's dialogue while they watched it, then reconstructing the play by combining those notes with audience interviews to recover the stage directions; in some cases, these unauthorised copies are the only record of a given play that survives to the present day. It's one of my favourites for two reasons:
It demonstrates that piracy has always lay at the heart of media preservation; and
Imagine being the 1603 equivalent of the guy with the cell phone camera in the movie theatre, furtively scribbling down notes in a little book and hoping Shakespeare himself doesn't catch you.

Their head are continuously buried underground making them invisible by looney tunes logic.
Context:
We have fossil Galliformes (chickens) and fossil Anseriformes (ducks) from the Cretaceous. Given they diverged from the rest of birds after Palaeognaths, that means that Palaeognaths had to have existed in the Cretaceous... but we have NO FOSSILS of one! none! all these dinosaurs and not a single proto-ostrich!

If you’re watching some sort of media and someone says something like “hey, this animal media probably isn’t the best because this animal is in pain/fear/shock/etc.” or “this is harmful for the animal because x” and you get upset at them for ruining your fun you probably don’t love animals and just like the happy chemicals they produce for you. Just saying.

Yes misinformation is a double edged sword, that's why it's important to learn more about pretty much all living beings and what is their POV for them, removing blood feathers on a cockatoo parrot might hurt him physically, destroying it's home/cage in front of him might hurt him emotionally but at the end of the day those are normal for that specific type of individuals.
But this isn't a reason to not intervene!! When you see what you believe to be animal abuse, you have to say something, better get humbled and learn a new thing than to give a silent consent to abuse.
