also, recently I got the idea of turning warriors of halcyon into an rpg maker game, and I kinda know some mechanics I wanna put into that game. so stay tuned for more stuff, I suppose!

why do my paras realise things about myself before me HSKSHSKSJS

I am noticing a pattern of paras becoming more fleshed out and realistic with time, me thinking "oh this sounds a lot like [thing]" and then realising that oh... I experience the thing...

So, I recently learned about the term Immersive day dreaming, and I’m honestly really surprised there is a community of people who aren’t distressed about it. I was always told that day dreaming all the time is bad for me and will disconect me from reality but! I like it! It’s fun! The blorbos from my brain!!!! I’m stoked that I’m not like; the only one!!

I’m: really curious what other people day dream about, like I have this whole fantasy world in my brain with different eras and economies and aaaaa what do y’all put in your worlds I’m so curious

Also does anyone have any resources I can read up on? I want to make sure I can communicate effectively what my brain blorbos are

Just a reminder that your wips? Amazing. Your characters? Wonderful. Your world? Lush and palpable. Your writing style? Incredible just by being yours. An imaginary future audience isn’t nearly as important as your feelings for your own creations. Your writing is your own.

For my fellow MADDers (or anyone, really), how do you picture your daydreams? This has always interested me, like that question of whether or not someone has an internal narrative (I do not).

I'm usually a combo of A and C in my maladaptive spaces and B in regular dreams. I write from a combination of all three.

Is it weird that I have.. idle daydreams..?

I'm not sure how to explain this, but let's say I can't concentrate on anything too detailed and my mind is scrambling for events. My brain will default to a para like Reign who would be endlessly working away on his laptop, wandering around the city doing meaningless everyday tasks, or standing someplace on the phone saying mhm's and yeah's. For anyone else, it's usually sleep for whatever reason. It's so comforting in a way idk??

I love the "came back wrong" trope but from the opposite side.

Imagine you are dead. And then you are RIPPED from the embrace of decay into the world of the living again. Your memories are hazy and you don't recognize any of these people, but they act like they're close to you? Like they love you? So you try to get your memories back, to act like you belong here, but everybody tries to forget you died. And you can't. It is omnipresent. And just trying to grapple with that fact pushes the people who "love" you away, and they're incapable of understanding, and they're so confused, what's wrong N̶̄̀O̶͛͗T̷̉́ ̷͋͝Y̴̎̌Ȍ̴̈U̸̓R NÄM̴̃͑E̵̾̇? And you just need them to understand, you aren't that person! You aren't! You don't know who that person is! You don't know why any of this is happening, but they're unwilling to bend, they keep insisting you are that person, your memories will come back, everything will be normal again, and you want to scream and cry and claw yourself open to show them you're different. Your existence as a being wholly separate from whoever you "used to be" is a sin unto itself. All you can do is scrabble for life and to them, you're killing whoever they loved to do it.
