So, my Earth Dancer Edition of Guardians of Azuma finally came in and I've been playing the hell out of it! I'm playing as Subaru this first time, since I'm planning on romancing Fubuki once I reach the Winter Village.

I will say, however, that Karuma and his cranky birb ass is quickly becoming a contender.

I'm already trying to decide which of the women I'll romance in my first Kaguya playthrough! Iroha is wholesome as hell, but I am also loving Ulalaka!

I was also pleasantly surprised that Woolby is actually not an annoying sidekick and is actually pretty helpful and encouraging.

Lion King AU Idea: Scar still hates Mufasa, but he does end up growing to love Simba, despite his best efforts not to. As the kid grows, Scar genuinely starts to care for his nephew, to the point where he can't bring himself to kill him. It's not enough to turn him good, however.

He still stages the stampede to kill Mufasa, but his heart is in his throat until Simba is safe. Then, in the aftermath, rather than urging Simba to run and sending the hyenas after him, he takes the cub under his wing and declares that he will "guide" Simba as his new father figure. It's the best way he can honor his brother's memory after all.

Instead of Scar immediately taking over, he moves behind the scenes as Simba's "advisor," acting as regent while raising Simba to be a puppet king.

Hey, friends. Just posting a special update. Shit's still insane in both my life and in my country, but something amazing has happened.

I have had my top surgery! The last step of my physical transition is officially complete!

I still remember being a kid just entering puberty, feeling wrong in my own body and not having the words to describe why. I wanted my chest to be hidden. That much I did know. I cringed away from "dressing like a girl" even before anything started developing.

It wasn't until I entered college that I first learned that gender isn't just a matter of "man" or "woman." I learned many new words and concepts during those four years. It took time for me to finally settle in with "nonbinary," but it felt right when I did.

Whenever I chose my outfits, I always gravitated toward baggy clothes with graphics, hoodies, jackets, anything that could mask what my chest looked like. Binding wasn't an option for me, as even sports bras made me feel like my lungs were being squeezed out. I would get told to wear more "serious" clothes for certain events, but anything "serious" felt like a fucking beacon toward this part of me that felt wrong in every way.

Even clothes that I bought myself weren't exempt. I remember buying a shirt from my favorite podcast, only to get smacked with dysphoria when I put it on and realized that it clung to my body and highlighted my chest.

Now, finally, I can look toward a future in a body that feels like my own. On Tuesday, the compression vest is coming off and I will finally see myself for the first time. Nothing can take this away from me.

I'd like to shout out to my parents, who have been amazing caretakers in the aftermath of the surgery. Mom made sure I got my painkillers every three hours during those first few bedridden days. Dad made sure I had what I needed to eat and drink. Both checked on me repeatedly and made sure I wasn't straining myself.

I'd like to thank my friends and family who have supported me on this journey, which is by no means at an end. While my physical transition is complete, I still have an entire lifetime as my authentic enby self waiting for me. It's going to be fun. It's going to be hard. I'm going to have to fight for it. I'm ready.
