Personal rules of the Transporter:

Never make a promise you can’t keep
Rules of the Car:
Respect a man’s car and the man will respect you.
Greet the Man.
Seat Belt.
Never drink coffee in the car. (rule 5 in s01e05)
If you take care of the car, the car will take care of you
