Why intelligence is still not considered attractive?

Question? why is intellectual prowess and intelligence not considered attractive? I consider myself sapiosexual and think anyone else would too. there is something to be said of a women who can hold a deep conversation and is well read and aware of the world we live in. Still though, guys seem to like girls who are dumb, naive, ditzy, and lost. I understand that its cute and adorable to help a girl if she needs help and I can appreciate that, but that is novel and played out, and to be honest, I would much rather have a girl who can make me think, stimulates my desires and challenges my mind as much as a girl who uses her lack of aptitude as a means to get what she wants....mainly attention and an edge in life....which is really just her playing herself out as someone who cant hold their own or think on their own! Bottom line, a girl with a mind that matches her outside beauty gets more respect and is more appreciated and loved than any tramp who thinks showing off her best assets means her legs, cleavage, and a cute laugh and puppy dog eyes (still admirable qualities but not whats important ...SMH
