Santal Mysuru Indicana oud brings you the most excellent quality sandalwood oil obtained by steam distillation of heartwood from the sandalwood tree (Santalum album L. (Family: Santalaceae)). This oil has a colour of pale yellow to yellow and smells extremely soft, sweet-woody and almost animal balsamic odour, presenting little or no peculiar top note and remaining uniform for considerable length. The sandal tree, also known as Chandana in India, is botanically Santalum album L belonging to family Santalaceae.The sweet, powerful and lasting odor makes Sandalwood oil useful in the perfume industry. Karimganj Agarwood Oil was distilled with the agarwood dust obtained from the agar trees of Karimganj. We got it distilled in a remote village, a few kilometers away from Badarpur town in Karimganj. Description: Top Notes - Nice viscous oil. Very refreshing and rejuvenating. Opens up like sweet corn, wheat sacks and fresh hay. And dampened Chinese balm and ointment kind of notes complemented by the whiffs of petroleum notes. It feels like it opens up your chest and rejuvenates your mind. Neither barn nor animalic. Very reminiscent of summer holidays in the grandma’s village. Middle Notes - Top notes quickly give way to middle notes of flat profile. Not very complex for the nose. Rather easy. Thick delicious honey with dampened herbage. Sweet corn is still lingering. Basenotes - Bottom notes are hay, grass that gives visual imagery of vast open farms. Sibsagar oil comes from the region of Upper Assam called Sibsagar, an ancient region in upper Assam which was once the capital city of Ahom kingdom that ruled the Assam region for six centuries. Sibsagar is famous for its rich biodiversity. It is bordered by the Naga Hills and Arunachal Pradesh in the south and south-east respectively and the Brahmaputra river in the north. Like the Golaghat region, the environment here is very conducive for the growth of agarwood trees and the trees have a very high rate of natural infection giving us an abundant supply of natural agarwood. For this oil, we sourced our wood from Sibsagar region and distilled it in a village near Nagaland border. With a few months of ageing, oil has turned out superbly well. Description: Intoxicatingly woody. Charmingly contrasting itself with mild sweet and smooth tangy notes all along taking you to the deep jungles of north east India with tall, dark and dense coniferous trees overshadowing and eclipsing the earth from sunlight giving damp, mossy tingling to your nostrils and fallen, rotten trees trunk getting into the mix. Woodiness becomes a lot more polished and tranquil with very obscure animalic and masked hay notes enchanting and caressing the olfactory senses.  Woodiness can’t get over from this oil even long after application of the oil. This is the hallmark of this oil.
