Fishbowl

There were so many games I was interested in when looking through the Steam summer releases/teasers. One of which really caught my eye was called "Fishbowl"

Originally I stopped to look at it because the adorable pixel style would stop anyone but as I watched the trailer I kept finding myself more interested.

What we know about the game: Under the Steam page there are four titles advertising the features of the game, they simply say Stay connected, Work from home, Rediscover your past, and Home and self-care.

There's also a basic summary of the game's story which tells you that you are a 21-year old who moved to the city after your Grandma's death.

First things first look at the art style, I told you it was cute and cozy!

There's the perspective shown above but there's also a top-down view (show below)

This game is giving me immense vibes in all the right places.

There seem to be a couple of mini-games one including a box where you organize the contents, sort of reminding me of unpacking.

There is another mini-game mentioned but I couldn't find a picture of it, it's described as a "fun matchmaking video editing game".

Other personal notes are the fun and diverse characters that are shown in the trailer. I'm always happy to see a game studio make characters that are so inclusive. The characters all look so whimsical and I just love the style imissmyfriends.studio (developer) went for.

All in all, I think this game is going to get a lot of traction when it comes out and hopefully I can be part of the hype squad!
