The date for the next one has yet to be determined. I’m thinking about May 2020 but this can still change.

One way not to miss it would be to join our Discord Server (see bio; which I actuallyhave yet to update lol) - for I will make an announcement there and it will be hard to miss. Or you can turn on notifications for this blog for I will definitely make a post once they open up again. Hope this answered it somewhat.

PLZ READ!!! ;-;

First of all, I’m really really sorry for my absence the past while. My grandfather passed away which really got to me and life honestly got in the way beyond me to handle and I’ve been having some small panic attacks (been doing a lot of stress art as well) - and I honestly admit I stayed away from most forms of social media, which in fact includes all my Tumblr blogs.

I haven’t checked my notifications yet, but for the last few peeps wondering why they haven’t had their card yet; it most likely didn’t went wrong (there are still 4 I need to do, not counting change requests for Surprise Cards). The same can be said about me not reblogging your creations.

I’m kinda leaving for a school camp now (I’m in the bus as I’m typing this) so I most likely won’t be available at all. But I’ll be back on Wednesday and I SWEAR you... I’ll find a way to get through all my notifications and send out those cards ASAP even if it ends up killing me 😂 I’ll send out another message when I’m finished with this; and if you still don’t have your card by then I suggest you message me for something might have gone wrong with the sign ups after all then... even tho I really hope that won’t be the case.

I’ll also end up expanding the deadline as a result of all of this. So don’t worry about that. (I’ll reblog the timeline again with the changes when I do this)

I’m really sorry that it had to go this way but I hope y’all can forgive me either way. I’ll get back on track after camp is finished! :’)

Hi. I run the codicesandflora sideblog (this is my main) and I was curious about the AO3 collection. I thought I had submitted all of my prompt fills thus far to the collection, but I noticed that none of them have appeared in it. Have any the submissions showed up at your end or I been making some kind of mistake when my posting my work?

The collection is set to open & moderated, which means that I have to approve each story before they appear in the collection for everyone to see. When it’s added you will receive an email for confirmation - this is automatically done by AO3.

And I will truthfully admit I’m kinda behind with this and am currently busy with reading through those stories.

At the moment, there are 8 stories that still need to be approved, it could be that yours are simply amongst those. If you haven’t yet received this confirmation mail by end next week I suggest to message me again for then something might have gone wrong, but as long as you selected the correct collection it should be fine.

Burn the ashes

My first prompt for @ineffablehusbandsbingo!

This is a fill for “Post-Armageddon”.

The sight of a puddle of demon clothes lying on the floor is a tad too visceral for Aziraphale. “Oh, Crowley,” he says, trying to breathe all his regret into those words. “Shit, that’s right. Ligur. Sorry.” The clothes disappear and Crowley puts his hand to Aziraphale’s back, a feather-light touch just to get him moving again, and gestures with his other hand past a room with a fancy desk and not much else. Down a dark corridor, they reach a small, sparsely-decorated den; it contains little except for a black leather couch and a coffee table. Well, there’s a book on the coffee table. Now probably isn’t the time for playful teasing about it, however. Just as Aziraphale starts to contemplate how dark it is in here, a couple more lights pop on from somewhere near the ceiling, and the place takes on the atmosphere of a warmly-lit cave. Crowley watches with tired eyes as Aziraphale settles on the couch, then goes off to some undefined Other Room.

“You all right there?” Crowley calls not twenty seconds later. “It’s more that I’m…sad,” Aziraphale says, still obsessing over the clothes. “That pile could have been you.” He gives himself permission to trail off here. Everything is too raw. The feelings buzz around in his head, impossible to attach to words, too charged with millennia of denial and drenched in grief to sort through right now. “Could’ve been the whole planet, but it’s not,” Crowley answers easily, on his way back with two appropriately-filled glasses. It’s just for decorum’s sake. This will not be an event for letting loose, or he’d have brought the entire bottle out here.

Crowley sauntered into the studio with his usual style and stopped dead just as he crossed the soundstage threshold. Without looking away from the vision on the other side of the mocked-up room, Crowley reached out and snared a passing camera operator. “Who,” he demanded, quiet but fervent, “is that?”

“A. Z. Fell,” said Chalky, cooly plucking Crowley’s hand off their jacket like a piece of trash. “Goes by the rather pretentious stage name Aziraphale.”

Crowley had heard of Aziraphale, of course. Had watched several of his films, quite avidly. But he looked different in person.

Everyone looks different in person, of course, but most people look more mundane away from the soft lights and filtered lenses and makeup. Aziraphale was the opposite. He’d been gorgeous in the films, soft and sweet and tantalizingly innocent. In the flesh, he was ethereally beautiful, radiating a sense of peace. Of love.

Crowley had reacted to his fellow actors in many ways, ranging from pure indifference to raging lust. He’d co-starred with one or two guys who’d made him want to punch them in their insufferable faces. He’d worked opposite a few who’d made him want to take them apart in all the best ways.

He’d never before looked at another porn star and wanted to swaddle them in blankets and bring them cups of hot cocoa.

“Huh.” Crowley slithered through the set and inserted himself into the conversation Aziraphale was having with the costumer, Sable. “Hello there,” he purred, offering a hand. “I understand we’ll be seeing a lot of each other.” He waggled his eyebrows ridiculously. It was best, he’d found, to break any ice early on.

“Oh! Mr. Crowley,” Aziraphale said happily, seizing Crowley’s hand in a warm, firm grip. “I’m so very delighted to meet you.” He looked looked Crowley over, head to toe, not bothering to disguise the appraisal. “You’re rather taller than I expected, somehow. But even more devilishly handsome. I’m sure we’ll get on like a house afire.”

Was that a “hot” joke? It wasn’t actually possible for someone to be that sincere, was it? “It’s… it’s just Crowley,” he returned, a little lamely. “No mister needed. Unless you’re into that sort of thing, of course.” There, that had returned him to his usual form.

“Speaking of fires,” Sable interrupted, “let’s get you to wardrobe, Crowley.”

“Yeah? And what’s this week’s thin veneer over the fucking, then?”

Aziraphale’s face lit up, looking delighted. “It will be ever so fun!” he enthused. “We’re to be an angel and a demon!” He leaned in quite close, his lips brushing Crowley’s ear, and whispered. “I can’t wait for you to corrupt me.”

Crowley let Sable lead him away, toward the changing rooms, but he kept glancing back over his shoulder at Aziraphale, feeling half-stunned and wondering if, after filming was done for the day, his co-star would welcome an invitation to dinner.
