What I want to see in 1941 in S3

(please forgive the terrible way I write ... an author, I am not)

"Well, you said, 'Trust me.'" "And you did."

Crowley flicks his hand and the phonograph starts playing. Aziraphale looks at Crowley with interest, and Crowley says, "I know its more modern than you usually tolerate, but I think you'll enjoy this song." Nightingale starts to play. Aziraphale listens intently and smiles, gently watching Crowley. Crowley nods slightly to himself, takes a larger-than-necessary gulp of his wine, and stands.

"Dance with me, Angel." "What?! I…I mean, Angels don't dance." "Nor do they drink wine or enjoy crepes, but you've mastered both of those skillsets." "I…I…" Aziraphale is wringing his hands and looking everywhere but at Crowley, who is standing with his hand out, waiting.

Seeing that he's panicking, Crowley takes pity and gently drops his hand. "Ok, Angel. You don't dance. It's alright. I think I better be off anyway." He retrieves his hat and coat from the rack and turns to leave. "Goodnight, Aziraphale."

Aziraphale stands to walk him to the door, and takes a deep breath.

"Crowley?" "Yes, Angel?" he says as he turns toward his friend. "A long time ago, I was afraid to eat. Or drink. Over time, I was brave enough to try each, thanks to you. I hope someday I'll be brave enough to try dancing, and I hope that you'll be there to teach me." Crowley smiles softly. "Whenever you're ready, Angel, I'll be waiting."

I was just rewatching GO2 and realized something -

In S1, Azi thrice gifts Crowley with his tartan: in the 60s with the thermos, in Tadfield with the bike rack, and of course during the switch with the collar.

In S2, Azi gives Jim a tartan blanket that is absolutely not his tartan, nor is it Heaven’s tartan. It’s just sort of random - like “you don’t belong to Heaven anymore, but I’m sure as hell not claiming you.”

Meanwhile, he’s claiming Crowley every chance he gets. And we won’t even DISCUSS the fact that the tartan literally contains Crowley’s color scheme.

This show is going to be the death of me.

Things the GO fandom as a whole have just accepted as canon

Crowley's favorite word is "ngk-"

They kissed in 1941. That's why the vibe was so awkward during the Holy Water scene in 1967.

The fire extinguishers in s2 are all from Crowley because of the bookshop fire in s1

Aziraphale is a huge flirt. Crowley gets flustered easily.

They adopted Jimbriel and Muriel

Crowley steals all the genders but Aziraphale is content with the lack of them

Crowley would go to bars and rant to Hozier, not knowing it was him, then hear his songs on the radio and break down because the lyrics understanded him.

He was also besties with Freddie Mercury

Oscar Wilde was in love with Aziraphale

Gabriel is Kenough

the implications of crowley talking in a baby voice to the bentley are insane bc he does it while holding the plants meaning either crowley has gone completely soft in season 2 or he’s waging psychological warfare with the plants, making sure they know who is the favorite. both options are absolutely bonkers

Almost 3 years ago, while at the most sleep-deprived moment of my life, got the kindest advice from you.

My son and I are now in the toddler years. He is the most amazing little human. Every day I try a little harder than the day before to be the best parent I can be for him. Through all of that, I still feel such imposter syndrome. I know no parent really knows what they are doing, I just feel like eventually everyone (especially my son) will find out that I REALLY have no idea what I'm doing.

Does it ever go away?

Nope. Never goes away. But one day you look at your kids with THEIR kids, and you realise that they are making it up as they go along too. And you feel a whole lot better.

It will never, ever get old that, upon learning that they had 11 years until the end of the world, Crowley and Aziraphale's plan to thwart Armageddon basically amounted to Crowley being like "we should have a baby, angel" and Aziraphale lighting up like a Christmas tree at the thought of him and Crowley raising a cute little antichrist together.
