Beggars Choosing
Beggars can't be choosers. I have heard this phrase spoken by so many people in my life, I've used it myself; it has a ring of truth to it, after all, the point of begging is to receive whatever gift someone is willing to offer from their heart. You might be surprised by just how much gratitude a beggar will have for the smallest of things that others take for granted, that smile that you see on their face when you give them something is genuine; whether it's something as meaningless as money or as priceless as your time, a beggar will appreciate whatever you give to them. However, it is not an entirely true statement as the beggar can be a chooser, the beggar always has the choice of accepting the gift or rejecting the gift; since the gift comes from the heart or the emotional center, the gift speaks to the character of the giver. If the giver chooses to give generously from their heart and gives abundantly, then certainly the beggar would choose to accept graciously; if the giver chooses to share what little they have with the beggar, then of course the beggar will accept joyously; if the giver chooses to arrange a business arrangement with the beggar, then the beggar may accept or decline humbly; if the giver chooses to give trouble, then the beggar may choose to defend himself or flee. If our hearts are evil then it is evil which we will give, if our hearts are good then it is good which we will give; those whose hearts are divine give divinity, for those hearts do the will of God. The beggar is always just as free to choose as the giver is free to choose, it does not make the beggar evil to reject evil; it does not make the beggar wrong to choose, it makes the beggar equal. The choice is the key, for the choices which effect others the most are the choices which will affect you the most; what happens to the beggars when there are no givers left, then only the takers will be left to kill one another over pieces of the ground. Slaves are given all they need to keep them laboring, day and night they work keeping the machine going; while the masters reap the profits and spoils, managing the slaves with false hope. Slaves are grateful for all the master gives them, their purpose is to serve their master; but that hope feeds a desire for more, for all men desire to be master rather than equal. The ability to choose is the equalizer, all are equal in the right to choose their path; when the condition of the heart is honest, then truth becomes known, motives become pure, and grace becomes faith, manifesting peace within. Freedom begins within the mind, you cannot break the bonds until you see the chains; then it becomes easy to break the bonds, as others break their chains the free grows stronger. It is within the mind which battles are waged, internal conflicts become external problems; show me someone without problems and I'll show you someone without a heart, nothing but a logical brain. The beggar, the giver, the slave, the master, and all are equal in the ability to choose our own path; whether it may lead to the last taker left, or an abundant society of givers with no beggars.

Lake Palestine, Texas
I live south of a small town called Chandler, Texas; the actual place I live is where three towns meet, Chandler, LaRue, and Coffee City. I have a Chandler address but I actually live on the west side of Lake Palestine, it’s a beautiful place to live; I take a lot of photographs, but that’s a different blog. There is a town called Palestine in East Texas, it is south of Lake Palestine but you cannot see it from the lake.
There are over 20,000 people living along this side of the lake south of Chandler and north of Coffee City, if there is a wrong side of the lake, this would be it. I have lived in this area for over 30 years, I grew up in these neighborhoods; although I have lived in other places, I have always returned, I consider it my home. It is very different than the birthplace of the Messiah, the country once known as Palestine but recognised as Israel in current history; we don’t have as many Arabs or Jews here, but there is still a very strong Roman influence over our society.
I am known to say that Texas is the promised land, I do like living in Texas even if it can be rather backwards at times, especially in East Texas; I would rather work towards making Texas a better place to live than moving to another state, in fact, if I can ever make enough money, then I have plans to develop the area where I live. I write my books from my classic trailer house which sits on top of a hill, I can’t see the lake from my house, but it is within walking distance and all downhill; I have a lot of memories in this place, I’ve gained a lot of inspiration, and there is much I have learned in this small town in East Texas. One day I hope to build the largest solar powered skatepark in Texas right here where I live now, a park worthy of hosting the X Games; I would be more than happy to move in order to build a hotel on this property, and people should be more than happy to relocate with above market value offers on their property.

Pot Smoking Preacher
As my misdemeanor convictions for possession of marijuana, otherwise known as the cannabis plant, would prove at least by circumstantial evidence that I am know to smoke some herb; that would not be an incorrect assumption, criminalized for a dried chunk of vegetation. I started partaking of its medicinal and recreational values as a teenager, since then my personal observations and studies surrounding the cannabis plant have been quite extensive; especially since the introduction and indoctrination of the World Wide Web, you could say that I've become somewhat of an expert on the subject. And yet I have found that for some reason the prohibition of this plant matter has no foundation other than greed and profit from illness, that is what we should call it, the illness industry; to fund our own enslavement to an unnatural state of being, in order to cope with and fit into a society which we did not create. Pretty much anyone who has known me, worked with me, seen me, or had anything to do with me has dealt with me while I was "under the influence" of cannabis; it has enriched my life, I have also witnessed its medicinal effects personally. I seen it it virtually eliminate seizures and cure cancer for instance, and after some study I discovered why it is so effective; it triggers cannabinoid receptors found within all living creatures on this planet, they are a part of our Endocannabinoid System which helps our body work more efficiently and even heal itself. I could write a very long thesis on cannabis and how it was used throughout history, many people would choose not to agree with me; but the truth needs no defense, opinions are based in emotional belief, is your religion built upon truth or an emotional manipulation? Rabbi Yeshua, a.k.a. Jesus Christ, used anointing oils enriched in cannabis to heal the sick and cast out demons (seizuires?), which was well documented; what do you know of the real man, only 4 gospels out of 12 disciples, yet every disciple had a different perspective of the Messiah. Other than my own articles, such as this one, I will be posting other things which pertain to this blog; including articles or research that I have read, discernment is being able to see the truth behind a lie, truth can be downright disturbing, even to the core of your beliefs. I support nothing short of the end of prohibition, decriminalization, and declassification of cannabis as a narcotic; it is my inalienable right to utilize the medicinal and recreational properties of the cannabis plant, according to God's law every seed bearing plant and herb is ours to use. Unfortunately I live in a state where I can legally get intoxicated on alcohol for recreational use, and Open Carry or Concealed Carry a handgun at the same time, but being in possession of a dried herb requires jail time and hefty fines, more profit to be made. Cannabis played a large role in Gnostic Christianity, it was one of the main ingredients of the anointing oil; even then the temple leaders didn't want to share it with and heal everyone, but Rabbi Yeshua didn't follow the instruction of the Pharisees. To outlaw God's creation is to say that God made a mistake, that man's law is above the law of God; that is not the teachings of Christianity, love God and one another for that is the greatest commandment, by doing so you fulfill all laws; the kingdom of God is within you, walk in the Spirit.

I Don't Say Howdy
I guess it would be quite right if I introduced myself, I Am Reverend Gabriel B. McBride, otherwise known as greyeyesgabriel, and I live in the somewhat piney woods of East Texas; or at least what’s left of them, I’ve lived here for most of the last three decades or so. Ah, so you noticed the title at the front of my name; yep, I got that when I became an ordained Christian minister, and I reckon I know what you’re thinking. Right about now you’re wondering what denomination I belong to, but even if I said my church is nondenominational then it would still be a division of the church of Christ; so my answer would be Christian, if you need further clarification then it would be of the original roots of Christianity, the Gnostic or Knowing Christians; before the Consolidation of Powers by the Roman Empire which still influences much of our world today, America is getting ready to celebrate the Big Game, a glorified gladiator dual which is even represented in Roman Numerals. I Am not a Jew, they would refer to me as a Gentile, and nothing I do or don’t do will ever make me Jewish; I Am not a Muslim, they would refer to me as an Infidel, me becoming Islamic would be like me becoming an Arab.
I like pork, I like pork chops, pork steaks, ham, and most especially bacon; I like to put a good smoked ham hock or two in my beans, I put bacon in my green beans; hell, I’m from Texas where they bacon wrap and barbeque everything. I’m not about to stop eating hogs, chicken, beef, or catfish; nor do I believe that the Creator is that particular about what I eat, especially when Rabbi Yeshua already came and fulfilled the law. I Am not Jewish or Muslim, I don’t have to obey your laws; those are the laws God set for your tribe, the only law set for my tribe was to love, for that One Commandment is the sum of All Laws, as according to the Messiah. Do you love or do you hate, do you not understand that you hate what you fear; do you fear yourself, yet it is yourself which you fear in your brother?
I don’t say “Howdy” but I have been known to say “y'all,” I don’t own a pair of boots, I don’t ride a horse, and I don’t wear cowboy hats; nor am I an ignorant redneck from the backwoods. In fact, when the public school was more concerned with teaching me to conform to regulations than it was with allowing me to learn, I started learning on my own; I have a very broad range of interests, one of which is physics, but that’s a different blog. I guess that’s a pretty good introduction, and I think we’re off to a great start; even if you already don’t like me, there is still a lot you can learn me, I hope you will enjoy this path down enlightenment as I know I will. Make sure y'all come back, maybe subscribe, follow, like, or whatever y'all do in virtually reality these days; I’m sure you can find me on all of them popular social networks, if not then you will soon, after all I Am just getting started.
