What if it's the same where what Demon-kind is to Humans is the same as what Humans are to Cats, and only the ones known to be "savage blood-thirsty murderers" are the minority of the Demon Species?

What happens when the protagonist ventures to an outside country; something nobody has ever done, nor ever conceived, for them to recieve aid in fighting the Demon Army, only for them to see Demons and Humans coexisting?

"Carnwennan" is the dagger given to King Arthur alongside "Rhogomyniad" and "Caledwlch" (← aka Excalibur) and, according to its Arthurian Legenda, possesses the ability to shroud its wielder in shadows and stealth.

Also, Rhogomyniad was Arthur's main weapon; a spear, not Caledwlch; a sword. Historically, swords were secondary weapons, akin to modern-day pistols, compared to spears being assault rifles. But that's getting into history not writing.
