A kitchen scale with a REST interface. You can acquire the weight or the unit, set the unit, calibrate or delete the calibration via REST. On the WiPy 2.0 runs a REST server written in python.

The Water Pump in Action!
The water pump pumps water into the patch and the water leaves the patch through the drain. Once the water pump stops pumping the water will flow back through the pump and the drain.
The patch will be flooded every hour for 15 minutes.

I’ve connected the patch with the water pump and added the gravel. I’ve also sowed lamb's lettuce. I hope it will shoot :3

Working on my new project. A little patch watered and fertilized by fish tank water. And now I create the drawing for the framework which holds the patch above the fish tank. The next step is to cut the framework out from acrylic glass with a laser cutter.

The weather forecasting ability
If the air pressure is decreasing the color of the led ring will turn into a light blue. But if the air pressure is increasing the color will turn into an orange.
I simulate decreasing air pressure by sucking air through a straw. And increasing air pressure is simulated if the air pressure is returning to the level of the environment.

If the glove is positioned horizontally it will change the way how it shows the north. It will change from haptic feedback to visual feedback.

I’ve connected the vibration motors with the device. Now I have to figure out which bit of the shift register control which motor…
The black wires are for the led ring by the way.

Working on Sixth Sense 2.0
Besides showing you where north is it schould also show you how the weather will be. It will use a barometer to forecast the weather and will show it through a led ring on the back of your hand.
A blue ring means bad weather and an orange ring means good weather.

The Sixth Sense
Four vibration motors located at the front, right, back and left of your wrist show you where north is. So if the front of your wrist is vibrating you are looking towards north. If the back of your wrist is vibrating you are looking towards south.
