Have you ever seen one of those tiny little tic-tac-toe boards that turn words into links? They’re actually called hashtags. Pretty cool, right?

What do you mean you already know what a hashtag is? Okay. Well, I bet you didn’t know that on a desktop device, you can now click on hashtags from your dashboard or Explore page, and they’ll take you to one of our brand new community hubs. Every tag has its own hub where you can see what people are saying about your favorite topics.

But don’t forget, even on desktop devices, you have to tag your posts if you want them to show up on the relevant community hub. 

If the desktop layout looks familiar, it’s not because you’re experiencing your first moment of true clairvoyance—tag pages have been a feature on the Tumblr app for quite some time.
