hello lovely humans, welcome back to ink & ivy blog.

thank you to everyone who is following along so far! if you missed my introduction post you can find it here.

this week i want to introduce everyone to a very very special member of the ink & ivy blog team, Vegas!

Vegas is a nine week old, Siberian-Husky/Shiba-Inu mix. don’t let his angel face fool you, this little demon-in-disguise is a master trouble-maker. 

Vegas’s favourite past-time is chewing, everything in sight. slippers, the couch, table legs, toes - anything at ground level, you can bet Vegas is there with his sharp little puppy teeth. 

lucky for our furniture (and our feet), Vegas also loves his chew toys. today, i want to share with you a few of his favourites from Ren’s Pets:

1. the KONG original (puppy) - this indestructible chew toy can also be filled with healthy fillers, for hours of playtime fun 

2. the crab by Patchwork - “mr. crabs” has not one, not two, but three squeakers! he is washer/dryer safe and has six legs for six times the chewing potential 

3. Spot long tail hedgehog - with a squeaker in its tummy and crinkle paper in its tail, this funky hedgehog is twice the fun 

4. the JW hol-ee dog roller - this bouncy, stretchy ball is fun for playtime inside and out

5. KONG kozie, marvin the moose - this is Vegas’s all time favourite. he brings his “moosie-goosie” everywhere, even outside to bury in the snow. even with his sharp teeth, this stuffy with a squeaker stays strong (also available as ali the alligator)

after only one week together, Vegas has made so many advances in his training. our handsome little snow angel still has a lot to learn, and i look forward to sharing this journey with you all.

“hey, whats up? hello” welcome to ink & ivy blog! 

ink & ivy is a crafting and lifestyle blog for the wildly nostalgic, semi-adults. 

i wanted my first post to be an introduction to the girl behind the blog, and to give insight on whats to come from ink & ivy.

“hello, its me” - my name is Lee, I am a small business owner living in Canada. 

i am the event planner with the pigtails, working on building my portfolio and sipping on my fourth iced tea of the day. in my "free time" you can catch me rewatching Friends and planning my next project.

what’s to come on ink & ivy blog 

my new years resolution has been to learn new skills. being a semi-adult myself, i spend more time viewing take out menus than cookbooks. i spend more money buying new items rather than repurposing old items. i spend my downtime bingeing Netflix instead of exercising my creativity. 

by following ink & ivy blog, you will follow my creative journey as i attempt recipes, create DIY projects, and experience new places. along the way,  I will be sharing a few of my favourite things that make me, me. 

I am looking forward to this new experience, and I hope you choose to follow along this journey with me!
