Melting this is as easy as making hot chocolate @lushcosmetics As long as you follow the steps the whole process takes about 5 minutes total. Once it's cool to the touch apply it to dry hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. You then shampoo, rinse and style your hair as you normally do. When I applied it to my hair I did it in six sections to make sure I was really getting it in there. I clipped my hair up and left it in for about 30 minutes. When I went to wash it off I made sure the water was warm. I wanted to use the heat of the water to make sure it would melt everything off. Honest truth once my hair was rinsed of the product it actually did feel soft to the touch and it smelled sooo earthy and great!!!! Had a bit of shine to it too. My only problem with it is that a few pieces do get left behind in your hair. So it is a little hard to fully get out of your hair but it wasn't sooooo terrible. I just added more warm water to those spots and it melted right off. I then cowashed and detangled my hair and everything was all good. I was able to save about half of the cream as I didn't need to use the whole pop. I saved it in a plastic container and may do another treatment next week. I would say definitely give it a try. Here's my Anidote for great edges! (Check out previous post) A simple step by step tutorial on how I make my Edge Concoction Step 1- Cut a piece of the aloe plant open and scrap as much of the gooey guts out into a bowl. Step 2- Pour as little or as much as you want of the Jamaican Black Castor Oil. Step 3- Mix! There will be some chunks of the aloe but that's ok. Step 4- Put the mixture in a small container. I got mines at a local beauty supply store. They have many different sizes for all your beauty needs. And that's it. As long as you put it in a sealed container you can keep it up to a week in your fridge. Apply it at night. In the morning. Just pretty uch whenever you like as many times as you feel suitable. Hope this works out for ya. Let me know how you like it. Cause I love it!
