listen writers and authors there is one thing I never want you to stop doing because it brings me such immense joy every time I read this. my favorite line that people write sometimes when they are describing the most attractive looking muscular just gorgeous man is: “the man was sculpted by the gods themselves.”

I don’t know why but that shit hits so hard to me. I understand it on so many levels and I’m just like every time I hear it like Oh my God that’s a good looking man then. It’s such a cliché but such a good description of how someone looks if they are really not attractive. So please do not stop writing this line in fanfic in stories because I fucking love reading it.

lol, you’re sweet. I am still writing the chapter, I’m just a very slow writer and right now my life and my health is not treating me kindly. Also I’ve been spending my time streaming games on twitch because it’s been easier on my brain haha. I promise I am almost finished with the new chapter!

I was in college when I started writing SIS. I graduated with that previous degree but I’m going back next month for another degree!

Katuski and Izuku playing valorant together. Izuku being somewhat new to the game and Katsuki being a seasoned pro. He is always helping Izuku, always top frag and never complaining about Izuku being bottom frag as he just wants to have fun with his boyfriend on a silly little game.

Izuku slowly getting better with the blonde’s help until one night they’re playing a particularly long match. They’re in the middle sudden death, Katsuki has over 30 Ks & Izuku having a mere 10. All of the team has died leaving them to a 2v5. Katsuki trying to cover Izuku and take the lead until he peeks a corner and gets sniped by the other teams Jett leaving Izuku (also jett) to 1v5.

“You got it, we’ve got 30 seconds. Throw a smoke, fake them out go to B, plant the spike use another smoke and hide away from it, pop your ult and just fucking headshot ‘em.”

Katsuki watching from Izuku’s pov the green haired nerd doing as he was told. Slowly but sneakily taking his 1v5 to a 1v3 as he runs to point B all while katsuki is constantly spilling praises for each takedown in Izuku’s headseat that’s making it hard to focus.

Izuku planting the spike, placing a smoke over it and quickly finding a corner to hide in.

Izuku’s little heart just pounding as he waits until Katsuki speaks again when the familiar sound of disarming is heard on the spike.

“Pop it fucking now!”

Katsuki on the edge of his seat his eyes basically glued to Izuku’s pov as his boyfriend quickly jumps into the air throwing shot after shot, hearing each person go down until there’s only one person left.

Izuku’s screen is shaky as he quickly darts to cover throwing one last kunai and hearing the last “tink” before all he can hear in his ear is Katsuki laughing proudly as the announcer calls out ‘ACE!’

“Oh, my god I fucking did it!” Izuku cheering for himself before Katsuki chimes in.

“Fuck yes, I’m proud of you, good job baby!”

He can’t see it but he knows Izuku is blushing at the words. A lasting sigh leaving him.

“We leave on a win?” He asks

Izuku clearly still trying to calm down his heart from the panic the fun game had just brought him. His adrenaline wearing off and making his poor hands shake.

Katsuki laughs as he knows the feeling.

“Yeah baby, we leave on a win.”

One trope in MHA fics that I really enjoy is Bakugo and Midoriya calling each other by their actual names rather than Kacchan and Deku. Mostly because of how it informs their individual characters. On the surface, the use of their actual name acts as simply a way to ground each other, but the reason why is different for both of them.

Bakugo uses "Izuku" as a way to pull Midoriya closer. Throughout their entire lives, "Deku" has been Bakugo's way of pushing Midoriya away. The name has taken on a new meaning now, but it was originally an insult. Bakugo used it as a way to distance himself from Midoriya. For Bakugo, "Izuku" is more personal than "Deku."

On the other hand, Midoriya uses "Katsuki" as a way to push Bakugo away. "Kacchan" is a nickname, but it is also one of the symbols of Midoriya's and Bakugo's childhood. Midoriya has called him that since they were little because it shows how close they are. For Midoriya, "Katsuki" is less personal than "Kacchan."

I feel like I could go a lot deeper into this, but my thoughts on this are way too jumbled, and I had to get the idea written out in some form before it left my brain.

I've been part of a lot of zines over the years, but Of Love & Lore was one of my very favourites. I think everyone starts of with the best of intentions but it's not uncommon for projects to lose momentum early on, or for there to be complications within the mod teams, but this was one of those projects where everyone was giving it their all and I think back on it as one of the very best experiences that I had within the BNHA fandom. Man, it was just such a beautiful zine, and these are my cover art and print pieces for the project!

rewatching mha for the 7th fucking time because I cannot get past season 4 for some reason. I will finish this by the middle of next month or so help me. Katsuki himself can strike me down.

also rewatching this is giving me some insightful things about katsuki I never recognized before and I honestly cannot understand why he wasn’t or isn’t my favorite character. He’s got a lot of good ideas going on in that angry little noggin that just get clouded by that yelling and plus I was/am not a big fan of bullies.

(yes i know he has a redemption arc and i’m excited to see it myself.)

What can I say though? I’m a sucker for green haired bitches, collect them motherfuckers like I collect debt. I will forever love Izuku and how fucking crazy he is. That boy’s got a lot going on in that noggin too.
