She is both wound & knife.
Crusadé Lopez is someone that will make you want to look & think twice when you pass by her. Once for her distinctive heterochromia (a pair of diamond shaped blue + green-brown eyes), and twice for her undeniable charm & chaos that she wears as if it was her second skin.
During regular days, she finds herself at the comfort of her powder blue room at Loyola Heights. Often seen on the busy crowd of working cafes with her iPad and printed materials, C.L. is a top student known for her competitive nature not just in the academics but also in her extracurriculars.
"I am my own competition."
Despite passing De La Salle CET and aiming for the green and gold, she pursued the fighting maroons for her pride and the quiet rage brewing inside her. At 22, she is currently a third year (irregular) undergraduate student of UPLB's Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
However, despite finding passion in advocating for Animal Welfare & Nutrition, her heart knows that it longs for the beauty of Cinema... And the wakeup call she needed came in the form of a life shattering storm last 2023, where she found herself grieving for multiple reasons at once: her dreams, her high school sweetheart, and her grandfather.
In the upcoming academic year 2025-2026, she plans on applying for a transfer to BA Film under UPD's College of Mass Communication. Optimistic about her plans, she often finds herself spending time in nature (particularly the beach) and vintage shops trying to silence the echoes of a place she used to call her home.
Her long list of achievements and adventurous nature is a testament of her growing up as a mature child. Now, she is a just a woman learning how to drink her tea unhurriedly, letting herself stumble and laugh at her own mistakes without taking it against her self-worth. At present, her goal is to walk her chosen path while holding the hands of the little girl she once was— aching for the warmth she never found.
