It's actually for the best that he's the one who lost his memory because he would be CRASHING OUT at the thought of all the things the Facility did to MC. The need for revenge...man, I don't think you guys understand yet how feral this man can get when he's not in a cage.

Like I literally had to write in the plot of him losing his memory otherwise he'd be absolutely impossible to write in 90% of his scenes. He'd be gentle with MC, but the minute anyone else enters the scene? Hoo boy.

It's really REALLY for the best. There's vulnerable humans on the crew that we don't want to catch any strays.

The stench of her hair filling his nostrils when he finally found her.

The power to heal thrust upon him the very same night he failed to save the one he cherished most—now that, most of all, was what he couldn't fucking think about.

Leaving town after that night was the only thing Danny ever wanted that went against his family's wishes. He'd gone so far as to pack his bags after the funeral, leave a note for his grandfather, and buy a bus ticket out of town. But in the end, he couldn't bring himself to force them through another loss.

So we know what the Fivesaken four order at the diner, but who is offering a bite without being asked, who is sharing if asked, and who does not share food?

Okay so let's ignore Five for a sec, pretend they're in the restroom or something. This is kind of how the dynamic of the ROs goes at the diner:

Danny's hunched over his plate stuffing his face with onion rings while tuning out whatever Murph's rambling on about. Maya forgets to eat her oatmeal as she stares with disgust at Avy dipping her fries in milkshake and dripping it all over the tabletop.

Murph reaches out to try an onion ring, thinking nothing of it, but quickly snatches his hand back when Danny makes a move to whack him upside the head.

Maya spoons the dried bananas from her bowl over to Murph's, lecturing him he needs actual fruit or he's just gonna die. And Avy, because she feels like stirring up Murph's indignation, snatches up an onion ring from Danny's plate knowing he won't hit a girl.

You guys might be surprised by this LOL, but aside from Zoia, the cast of Fivesaken have been with me for much longer in different forms so I have the deepest connection to them overall!

I guess they're also easier to relate to since they're more like the people you'd meet irl instead of like, casual slayers of humankind, etc!!

Did a Shadow Circuit MC come up with their own first and last name or were they given one by somebody :0? Or do they remember their parent(s) enough (before being orphaned) to have known the name they were given? Do we ever find out the circumstances of MC being orphaned in the actually text like what happened and how old they were or is it up to interpretation :o

(Shadow Circuit origin is very interesting seeing as in a prior ask you said the MC was a kid old enough to already have a name (first AND last) but with them being orphaned implies them being old enough to know their name to begin with but their parent(s) either not knowing themselves, not having the time, or had only just started teaching them how to read and write before they orphaned MC— especially as it’s stated Mrs. Sim is the one who taught them which also begs the question of how developed those skills are depending on if MC started later than they should’ve and how much time Mrs. Sim dedicated towards teaching those skills between being a gang-leader and likely prioritizing teaching them how to yaknow survive 😔😔)

TSC MC was orphaned at the age where they could already fend for themselves (in terms of eating, finding shelter, just the basic stay-alive necessities) so they remember their parents.

I'm considering an option where you can decide if your parents died or just abandoned you, so you can reference that during chats with ROs/BFFs.

In the Shadow Circuit education is very lacking. The government doesn't care enough to enforce it. Most kids don't know how to read and write by default. Most of their parents don't, either.

Mrs Sim was the one pushing for it because she wanted her kids to end up in a better situation with more prospects. Obviously there's tech that can read and write FOR you, but she didn't want them reliant on stuff that could fail and knew the benefits of exercising the mind<3
